🚨 CITY OF PAWNEE WATER OUTAGE NOTICE

Residents in the following areas may experience a scheduled water outage tomorrow morning, Tuesday June 9th, from approximately 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM as crews work to tie in infrastructure for the new booster pump station project:

📍 Affected Areas:
• Residents that receive their water from the Twin Towers
• 300 block of Elm and southward from 4th Street and East

This temporary outage is a necessary part of the work to bring major improvements to Pawnee’s water system, including our new Booster Pump Station and new Ground Water Storage Tank coming this summer! These upgrades will strengthen reliability, improve water pressure, and support our community’s future infrastructure needs.

⚠️ IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONARY NOTICE:
If your home experiences a complete loss of water service, you will be under a voluntary precautionary 24-hour boil order once water service is restored, out of an abundance of caution.

🚰 Potable water availability:
We will have the Pawnee County Emergency Management water buffalo with potable water located at City Hall, if needed.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your patience as we continue making critical investments in Pawnee’s water infrastructure. These short-term disruptions help us build a stronger system for the long term! 💧

This is the last planned outage for the NEW booster pump construction and installation.
There may be outages for upcoming construction of the NEW water storage tank later this summer. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
