Get ready for an action-packed week at the Waccamaw Warriors Youth Football Camp! 💪🏽🏃‍♂️
This is the perfect chance for young athletes to sharpen their skills, build confidence, make new friends, and have FUN with Warrior football players and coaches!

📍 Where: Warrior Stadium
📅 When: July 13–16
⏰ Time: 6:00–8:00 PM
👦🏽👧🏽 Grades: 2–5
💲 Cost: FREE!

Whether your child is new to football or already loves the game, this camp is all about learning and teamwork.

🎉📘 Yearbook Time at WES! 📘🎉

Pre-ordered yearbooks are being handed out this week! 😃

⭐ Pre-K — Wednesday
⭐ 1st & 2nd Grade — Thursday
⭐ Kindergarten & 3rd Grade — Friday

Jostens also sent a few EXTRA yearbooks for any last-minute purchases! 🎉 These will be sold on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

💲 Cost: $35.00
💵 Payment must be made to the school (online ordering is now closed).
✔️ Cash (exact change only) or check payable to WES.

Please remind students to bring their yearbooks straight home after school so you can enjoy all the memories together! 💙📸

🎉Congratulations to 3rd grade student, Lincoln Coburn, for receiving the 2026 Dr. Celeste Pringle Turn Around Student Award during Tuesday evening’s Board of Trustees meeting.🎉

The Turn Around Student Award recognizes students who have demonstrated resilience, determination, and meaningful growth in their academic journey. We were honored to celebrate Lincoln’s growth and his continued pursuit of excellence. Your hard work and positive attitude are truly inspiring, and we are so proud of you! 🌟👏

🎉 Pep Rally Fun at WES! We are SC Ready🎉

This past Friday, May 1st, our 3rd graders geared up for SCReady testing with an exciting and energetic pep rally! 💪📚

We were thrilled to have students from WHS join in on the fun. They shared encouraging words to motivate our students to do their best on SCReady 🙌

Classes also competed in a quick (and very fun!) dodgeball tournament—congratulations to Mrs. Rodenbeck’s class for taking the win! 🏆 To top it all off, the WHS athletes joined Mrs. Rodenbeck’s class for a friendly round of dodgeball, bringing even more excitement to the day! 😄

The celebration ended on a sweet note with ice cream sundaes for everyone, generously provided by the WES PTO. 🍨❤️

Special Thanks to Coach Johnson, the WHS students who helped pep up our 3rd Graders, our wonderful PTO and our fabulous 3rd Grade Teachers.

We’re so proud of our students and know they’re ready to do their best on SCReady this week—go WES! 💙

💜 THANK YOU FOR PURPLING UP! 💜

Yesterday April 22, 2026 Waccamaw Elementary School proudly celebrated the Month of the Military Child by wearing purple in support of our military-connected students and families.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us recognize and honor our military-connected students and the sacrifices their families make each day. Your support made this celebration extra special!
