Vote Scott BigHorse for Osage Nation Principal Chief Osage Nation leader rooted in culture and decades of public service. Former Oklahoma State Representative. Committed to serving Osage families.

Osage Nation Congress (2018–present), former Assistant Principal Chief and Interim Principal Chief. I’m Scott BigHorse, an Osage leader, public servant and proud cultural carrier. In the Osage language, my name is Kiheka, which translates to Big Chief. I was inspired at a young age to get involved in county and tribal affairs, thanks to family members who showed me the importance of staying engaged and serving your community. That early influence shaped the path I’ve taken ever since. Over the years, I’ve been honored to serve in leadership roles for the Osage Nation including as a member of the Osage Nation Congress, Assistant Principal Chief and Interim Principal Chief. I’ve also served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives and was appointed to the Native American Caucus of the Oklahoma Legislature, where I served as a spiritual counselor and as part of the caucus’s advisory team. Outside of public service, I’m also known as a traditional singer, and I believe our songs and traditions are something we carry forward with pride and responsibility. Thank you for being here and for staying connected to the future of the Osage Nation.

To everyone who showed up, worked hard, and gave their time to this journey. Thank you. Campaigns aren’t built on one person, but on the effort, sacrifice, and belief of so many.

A special thank you to Brandy, Paula, Coley, Jim and Debbie Taylor, Jodie, Alice, and all of my nieces and grandchildren. The long days, the helping hands, the encouragement, and the unwavering support you gave meant everything. We truly couldn’t have done this without you.
