Ha'weh, Osage County!

Being stalked doesn't just leave someone feeling creeped out or uncomfortable. It can cause any reasonable person substantial emotional and psychological distress, which can cause or aggravate the person's anxiety, despression, or worse.

Stalking isn't flirting. It isn't a cute way of learning about someone. Stalking is a serious form of abuse, it can ruin lives, and it is a crime.

Please, help your children and teens understand healthy ways of showing affection to a crush or potential partner. Not only can this be a perfect opportunity to bond with your child, but it will also better prepare them for a future of healthy relationships.

Have a wonderfull weekend, everyone. Stay safe, stay warm.

Today's world can be challenging for our youth. Please, pay attention to your young ones and how they feel. Unmanaged emotions and trauma are a mental health risk. Speaking with your child about their feelings, how to recognize them, and how to cope with them is critical to preparing them for life's challenges.

If your child is showing signs they may be in distress, please, call 988, use 988lifeline.org, or reach out to a mental health professional immediately.

We're all human, and we all need help sometimes. Take care of yourself, Osage County. Have a safe weekend.
