Planning a trip to the Van Buren Youth Fair? Be sure to stop by the Veterans Services booth! From July 20-24, 2026, your Veteran Services Officers (VSOs) will be at the fairgrounds connecting with veterans, their families, and the community.

Whether you have a question about VA benefits, disability claims, health care, or other available resources, our officers will be on-site to provide guidance and support. It’s also a great opportunity to meet fellow veterans, learn about local services, and discover how Veterans Services can assist you throughout the year. No appointment is necessary. All veterans, their families, and community members are welcome.

While you’re there, enjoy everything the fair has to offer, from carnival rides to delicious fair food and 4-H exhibits, livestock shows, tractor pulls, live entertainment, and more. It’s the perfect time to have fun while also connecting with valuable resources.

Prefer to skip the crowd? No worries, we’ll have one VSO in the office for assistance with urgent matters.

We can’t wait to see you there!

We would like to thank Biggby Coffee and the community for donating funds for our local Van Buren County Veterans!

Biggby Coffee (Specifically the Paw Paw, Mattawan, and new M43 Locations) collected and then MATCHED the funds collected to benefit our local Veterans. We will be using the funds collected towards some much-needed improvements as we re-invigorate our Veterans Therapy garden!

Thanks again to Biggby Coffee and all those who chose to round up their purchases to benefit our vets!

The VFW urges Congress to remove Section 108 from the Take Care of America's Veterans Act, preserve the integrity of the disability rating system and pass veterans' priorities without reducing earned disability compensation.

Project Healing Waters assists Veterans with physical and emotional rehabilitation through fly fishing and fly tying education and outings.
Classes will take place on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Building 6, Auditorium.
