Attention La Jolla Tribal Citizens::
The REAP 2.0 program seeks to accelerate infill housing development, reduce vehicle miles traveled and increase the housing supply at all affordable levels. La Jolla intends to support the program's goals by applying as an applicant with a plan to create housing and critical housing infrastructure that will bring Tribal members home.
This post is to notify Tribal members that La Jolla Band of Luiseno Indians will be submitting REAP 2.0 application to support infrastructure for future homes and safe routes to those homes.

Happy Thanksgiving to our Beloved 🍁Community! La Jolla Tribal Council Wishing All a safe and Happy time with family and friends.

Kindly see update below 🤗♥️

Good morning Tribal Members,

We are working with SDGE to see if they can restore power. But if the winds continue through out the day the power will remain off! Public works delivered generators to the elders and handicapped of highest medical need.

The gas station pumps are now working if anyone needs to get fuel. We are sorry for the inconvenience. It was an internal software issue. Please report any issues to the Tribal Council so we may properly remedy the issue.

Thank you for your patience,

La Jolla Tribal Council

As of 2:45 a.m. due to high fire risk weather conditions affecting power lines, the power has been shut off for public safety to portions of the following communities:
Boulevard
Campo Reservation
Descanso
Pala
We estimate 89 Medical Baseline (MBL) customers live in the affected area. Power may be off overnight and remain off for up to 72 hours. When conditions are safe, SDG&E will inspect the power lines to make sure they are safe to operate and determine when power can be turned back on.
