Around here, people become more than friends — they become family. From the everyday laughs to all the memories we make through the years, our friends leave a mark on our hearts that won’t ever fade.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to one of the very best! We are sure gonna miss seeing him around, hearing his voice, and knowing he’ll be back tomorrow. Things won’t feel quite the same without him here.

Even though we’re excited he gets to move closer to his family, it’s still hard saying goodbye. Just know, Bob, that you are such a special part of our lives and this community. Don’t be a stranger now — and remember, you’ll always have a home back here with us. Come back and visit us!!!

Our 2026 Island Paradise Palooza Senior Day was so much fun!!! Thanks to all that came out and parties with us - and especially to those that came out and helped serve the Senior Citizens of Paulding County (and several from neighboring counties!)! We started our day with Zumba, had an amazing lunch, then enjoyed Island music with the DeeBees.

We are incredibly excited to share that Leadership in Action has officially met and exceeded our goal of raising $26,500 for the Senior Center!
Thank you to every sponsor who donated through United Way, everyone who attended the Community Lunch Drive, grabbed dinner at the Beer Barrel fundraiser, sold tickets for the raffle on our behalf, purchased raffle tickets, or contributed in any other way. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the incredible support of our Community.
A more official post will follow soon recognizing and thanking the appropriate organizations and partners individually, we were just too excited not to share the news now!
