Attention Residents:

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for our area from Saturday, January 24th through Monday, January 26th. There is potential for heavy mixed precipitation and ice accumulation. These conditions may result in hazardous travel, downed trees, and possible power outages.

Temperatures are expected to range from the 30s down into the teens during this cold front. Please take proactive steps to protect your pipes, pets, plants, and people.

In the event of a power outage, please note that city utilities are equipped with backup generators to maintain water and sewer services. Our utility team will be actively monitoring the system. If you experience a water break or related issue, please report it to our After-Hours number: 972-260-9345.

The Police Department will also be patrolling throughout the area. If assistance is needed, please contact the Montgomery County Non-Emergency Dispatch at 936-760-5800 for all non-emergency calls.

Please stay warm, stay safe, and avoid traveling if possible. We are praying for everyone’s health and safety during these extreme weather conditions.

Attention Residents:

The bridge on Main Street will be closed for construction as part of the City’s ongoing $19 million mitigation project. This project includes bridge and road replacement to improve safety and infrastructure throughout Patton Village.

The bridge will be closed from November 8, 2025, through December 19, 2025. The Splendora ISD Transportation Department has been informed of this closure so that school buses can plan alternate routes until the bridge is reopened.

For everyone’s safety, we ask that all pedestrians refrain from crossing through the construction area during this time.

We understand this closure may cause inconvenience—especially with the upcoming holidays—but due to project deadlines, this portion of the work must be completed at this time.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to make important improvements for our community.
