On Friday, July 31, at approximately 3:00 PM, 851 was the first on scene at a serious five-car motor vehicle accident, with one vehicle overturned.

Our members immediately blocked traffic to protect the accident scene and ensure the safety of everyone involved. They confirmed that all occupants had safely exited the overturned vehicle, checked for injuries, and secured the scene until the sector units arrived to take over.

This incident highlights the professionalism, dedication, and commitment of our Auxiliary Police volunteers, who are always ready to serve the community when needed.

Members of the Suffolk County Auxiliary Police from multiple precincts proudly assisted at the Suffolk County Police Historical Society Open House. The event celebrated the rich history of law enforcement in Suffolk County and featured an impressive collection of vintage police vehicles from various police departments.
Auxiliary Police members helped ensure the event ran smoothly while engaging with visitors and supporting the Historical Society's mission of preserving the proud traditions and heritage of the Suffolk County Police Department. Auxiliary Police officers from multiple precincts joined together to assist the 4th Precinct with the annual Michael Murphy Run Around the Lake. Dozens of posts were staffed by Police Officers, Auxiliary Police Officers, and Crossing Guards to help ensure the safety of participants and spectators throughout the event.

Happy Father's Day!

Members of the 5th Precinct Auxiliary Police were out this morning assisting with the Community Ambulance 5K in Sayville.

Our officers helped support event operations and ensure the safety of participants along the course.

Thank you to all of our Auxiliary Police members who volunteered their time today, and a special Happy Father's Day to all the fathers and father figures in our community. Your dedication, both at home and in service to others, is truly appreciated
