We are so saddened to share that our recently retired police K9, Zador, passed away peacefully earlier this week. 🐾

Zador served with loyalty, dedication, and courage, and made a lasting impact on the Pasco Police Department and the community we serve. 💙

Even in retirement, Zador remained a valued and respected member of our law enforcement family.🚔

We extend our sincere condolences to Zador’s handler, family, and all who had the privilege of working alongside this remarkable partner. ❤️‍🩹

I'm sure you heard the news, the amazing Zador the Pasco Police K9 retired. 💙🚓

In honor of his tremendous career the Pasco Police Foundation would like to make available a limited amount of 100 Zador Plushies.

Every $50 donation supports Zador's favorite charity, the PPF, who utilizes funds to support (citizens in need) and Community Programs (like Field Day and visits from Goose and the PPD Paleta cart).

This is Why We Have the Pasco Police Foundation

In the early hours of Monday morning, one of our sergeants encountered a father and his 7-year-old son living out of their car. They had no food. No gas. Nowhere to go. Just the clothes on their backs and a quiet hope that someone might care enough to help.
Thanks to the Pasco Police Foundation, our sergeant was able to act. He provided an amount of assistance to help the family purchase fuel and food—enough to get them to a relative’s home in Finley and provide a small sense of stability during a difficult time.

The Pasco Police Foundation exists for moments like this. As a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Pasco Police Department, the Foundation enhances public safety by funding officer wellness, community engagement, and critical needs not covered by taxpayer dollars. Whether it’s fuel for a stranded parent, food for a hungry child, or resources for a victim in crisis—this is how we bridge the gap between compassion and action.

CONGRATULATIONS to the winner of the "Visit from Goose" Fundraiser--Kathryn Upton! The Upton family enjoyed Goose popping in to the Pre-K classroom at St. Patricks School. Kids got some yummy treats and a quality time with our Pasco Police Officers and Goose got lots of ear scratchin' and love. 💙🐾

Thanks to everyone that supported this fundraiser to support the program. We missed our fundraising goal by just under $1000---but we are thrilled by the generosity of our Facebook Fans of the Pasco Police and Pasco Police Foundation.
