Good afternoon,

We are a month away from the Pascagoula Fire Department 2024 Fire Cubs Program. All children that were accepted into the 2024 program have been contacted at this time. We are excited to see your child and have lots of fun activities planned. Below you will see the schedule explaining some of the activities planned throughout the week. Please be advised that Thursday June 13th & June 20th will be water days. All children will need to bring a change of clothes and a towel to participate in the water activities. The Fire Cubs program will run June10th thru June 13th & June 17th thru 20th from 0830 to 1230 each day. Check-in will open at 0745 each morning. The location for the program will be at 1707 Jackson Ave. Pascagoula, MS 39567. We will be located next door to the Central Fire Station at the Pascagoula Fire Department Training Facility. Please do not park in front of the garage doors of the fire station.

If you plan on staying with your child on any of the days, You MUST fill out a volunteer consent form and go through a background check, no later than May 31. No one will be allowed to remain with the child if there is not a volunteer consent form and a background check on file. This is for the safety of all the children.

The Pascagoula Fire Department is excited to announce the creation of the Fire Cubs program. The Fire Cubs is a 4-day summer camp for children 8 – 12 years of age. . The Fire Cubs will have two dates to pick from, June 10 – 13 or June 17 – 20. During the Fire Cubs program, kids will learn vital skills such as fire prevention, first aid, CPR, operating a fire extinguisher, and working as a team. Kids will also get to experience what it’s like to be a firefighter through hands on scenarios such as searching for a victim, spraying the fire hose, riding the truck, and much more. Some of our customers cannot have a fire alarm, sprinkler, or hood inspection done during “normal business hours.” So you occasionally find us working on a Saturday or in the evenings to service these clients. If you have a facility that needs an after-hours inspection please contact us. There is no additional cost if it is scheduled in advance.
