Day 1 of graduations at the University of Houston – Fertitta Center 🎓

Officers Waterman and Trevino stepped up to the podium… still waiting to be called up for their degrees in “Crowd Control & Snack Line Management.” 😄

In all seriousness, we’re here keeping things safe while families celebrate some big accomplishments. If you hear “last call” over the mic, don’t worry—it’s not for diplomas, it’s probably just Officer Trevino asking where the nearest coffee is. ☕😂

Congrats to all the graduates—y’all earned it! 👏

Members of our Honor Guard traveled to Austin to pay tribute to the fallen at the Texas Peace Officer Memorial. It was a solemn and powerful reminder of the sacrifice made by those who gave their lives in service to their communities. We stand in honor, remember their legacy, and remain grateful for their dedication and courage. They will never be forgotten. 💙🖤

Thank you to Bondy Intermediate for the wonderful gifts for our officers. It is this type of thoughtfulness and support that truly makes a difference and is greatly appreciated by all of us.

It is with great pride that we announce Sergeant Damon Sonnier has achieved his master’s degree in criminal justice from Lamar University. Sergeant Sonnier has been diligent in his pursuit of education while juggling the busy life of being a husband, father, first responder, and part-time entertainer. We applaud his exhaustive efforts to better himself and his position as a role model for our officers in their pursuit of degrees. Please, when you see Sgt. Sonnier, congratulate him on this landmark career achievement.

During training, officers from the Pasadena ISD Police Officers Association surprised us by cooking up delicious hamburgers! It was a fun and tasty break from our usual routine. Huge thanks to them for their thoughtfulness and culinary skills!
