Graduation week is here, and Volunteer Pasadena is proud to celebrate our amazing student volunteers. Many started volunteering as early as junior high while earning community service hours and giving back to the community.

⭐️Volunteer Appreciation Spotlight⭐️

We are proud to recognize Chloe Daniels, a dedicated junior from CTHS, for her outstanding service at the Animal Shelter. Since August 2024 through late March 2026, Chloe has consistently given her time and heart to volunteering, accumulating over 800 hours of service!🙌🏼

Her commitment, compassion, and reliability have made a meaningful impact on the shelter. Both the Animal Shelter and Volunteer Pasadena are proud to have volunteers like Chloe who exemplify dedication and service.

As Chloe enters her senior year, we want to thank her for all she has contributed and wish her continued success in all that lies ahead. We know her future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes.

🎣 We still need volunteers for the Crenshaw Classic Fishing Tournament! Join us for a fun day outdoors while supporting participants and Recreation Staff at this exciting community event. Fishing experience is appreciated, but not required—and snacks and water will be provided!

WOW! What an incredible day at the Easter Eggstravaganza! 🐣✨

We are so grateful for our amazing volunteers who made it all happen!

A huge thank you to the group from Jackson Intermediate and students from PMHS and YES Prep for showing up and giving their time to serve our community.

We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you, thank you for making a difference!

This week, we had the honor of personally delivering donation checks to five incredible local pantries who serve families across our region.

Because of our amazing community, businesses, schools, and volunteers, these funds will go directly toward stocking shelves and supporting neighbors in need. 🥫✨

Thank you to everyone who contributed, donated, volunteered, and helped make this Food Drive such a success. Together, we are making a difference. ❤️

February Highlights 🌟

This month we proudly recognized our Food Drive Top Contributors — Calpine Corporation and Pasadena Independent School District — for going above and beyond to support local families.

Because of community partners like these, thousands of pounds of non-perishable food are making their way to local pantries across Pasadena. 💙
