Next week in Made in the Maker Lab: 3d printed beads! We'll show you how to use tools such as Tinkercad and Inkscape to customize your own design for a bracelet, necklace or other project to create on our 3d printer.

Whether you are just starting out or wanting to get more practice, this project is a good way to build up your confidence when crafting in the Maker Lab! Register please as space is limited.

We're fortunate to have not one, but two opportunities to hear from thew winner of this year's Investigative Reporters & Editors award for books next week!

Lise Olsen will speak to the First Monday Book Club about her book "The Scientist and the Serial Killer" on Monday at 6 PM at the Fairmont Library. Registration is not required.

On Wednesday, June 3, she will be joined by the forensic anthropologist, Dr. Sharon Derrick, who dedicated years of her life to identifying several of the victims in the case that ended right here in Pasadena. Aprenda cómo Recovery trabaja para localizar, preservar y compartir la rica historia y cultura de las comunidades hispanas en los Estados Unidos, y cómo pueden ayudarle a preservar sus propias fotografías, documentos y recuerdos familiares para las futuras generaciones.
