Join us at Pasadena Public Library for Viva La Biblioteca, a free community celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month filled with music, dance, art, activities, and more!

Enjoy live performances from Sam Rayburn High School Mariachi Los Tejanos, the Salsa Teen Team from Salsa y Bachata Pasadena, and San Jacinto College South Campus. Explore a featured art exhibition by local artist Victoria Armenta, stop by community tables, enjoy children's activities, and enter for a chance to win door prizes throughout the event.

With 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, families are encouraged to read together and track each book along the way. Every story counts, including those favorite books your little one asks you to read again and again! As children reach milestones, they can also earn prizes at the library. 📖✨

🏡 Bring a little hacienda-inspired style into your home.

Join us for DIY Hacienda-Inspired Mosaic Accent and learn simple ways to create a warm and inviting space using texture, greenery, lighting, and thoughtful design.

Then, get hands-on as you create your own mosaic accent piece using glass tiles, terracotta, and stone. Participants will learn basic mosaic techniques and take home their project to finish with the provided grout and instructions.

You'll also receive a Hacienda-style on a Budget guide with ideas and step-by-step instructions to help you continue creating at home.

Acompáñanos en DIY Hacienda-Inspired Mosaic Accent y aprende formas sencillas de crear un espacio cálido y acogedor utilizando texturas, plantas, iluminación y un diseño bien pensado.

Después, pon manos a la obra y crea tu propia pieza decorativa de mosaico utilizando azulejos de vidrio, terracota y piedra. Los participantes aprenderán técnicas básicas de mosaico y se llevarán su proyecto a casa para terminarlo con la lechada y las instrucciones proporcionadas.
