The Harris County Constable Precinct 2 Office has received numerous complaints regarding ATVs and other off-road vehicles being driven in Sims Bayou.

While Sims Bayou is public property, operating ATVs and off-road vehicles in the bayou and along the trails is illegal and creates a serious safety hazard for pedestrians, cyclists, families, and nearby residents. These vehicles can also damage public property and the environment.

Our deputies will be conducting increased patrols and enforcement efforts in the area. Individuals found violating the law may be cited or arrested as we work to keep our parks, trails, and waterways safe for everyone.

We ask all citizens to obey the law and help us maintain a safe environment for the community.
