We had a great time at the "Historical" Doll Tea Party hosted at the Partridge Public Library on Wednesday morning. We enjoyed making fascinator hairbands, learning a little about tea, showing everyone our favorite dolls, and enjoyed eating a delicious tea party spread. We were blessed to have Laura Troyer facilitate the Tea Party. She brought her tea sets and decorated the tables so beautifully.

We are hosting a Summer Reading Kick-Off 2026

On Thursday, May 21st, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Kick-Off is a Come & Go event to register your kids, have a fun snack and make a craft at your leisure or take home to make.

Weekly In-House Activities will be Thursday afternoons beginning
June 4th until July 30th from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm (Except July 2, 2026 for the holiday.)

We also will be offering the option of participating in a Reading Challenge Only. (This is where you come into the library, whenever is convenient for you to pick out books.)

Come in for the Kick-off Event and register for the program of your choice.

If you can’t make it to the Kick-Off Event, registration will be open
May 1st – May 31st. Children ages 4 to 12 can register.

This morning is our last Play and Chat this Spring. Come out with your kids and enjoy getting together with others. We will start Play & Chat back up September 2nd. We do have other fun things planned for Wednesday mornings this Summer. Stay tuned for more information.

This year is the 250th anniversary for America. We have some new Children DVDs. They are documentaries about American history. They are fun because you are learning without even knowing it. The person telling the history goes to the different states and shows the historical sites or historical objects explaining the importance of them in history. Stop by at check them out!
