Decatur County Senior Center This is a place where older adults (age 60 +) can come hang out during the day & enjoy socialization

Our Center provides opportunitites for Seniors 60 years of age and older to remain
active and resourceful citizens living in the Decatur County community.

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Raymond E. White, aged 84, of Decaturville, TN. Mr. White departed this life and went to his eternal home on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, TN. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4th, 2026, from 12:00 p.m-7:00 p.m., at Freedman Chapel A.M.E. Church. Services will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2026, with viewing from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Freedman Chapel A.M.E. Church in Decaturville, TN. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

What a great day we have had today with a wonderful group of friends. Went to the Wagon Wheel Cafe in Waynesboro for lunch, then on to Ethridge for a wagon tour of the Amish (which we try to do yearly), now we’re headed out to get ice cream.
