June 11's Music in the Park feat. Wanda Watson has been postponed. She will be appearing with Howard Mahan and Friends on July 30.

Alright music lovers here's the bad news...

Due to the weather forecast calling for possible severe storms in Parsons during the afternoon and evening, it has been decided to postponed tonight's schedule performance of the Wanda Watson Band.

Now the good news...

Wanda has generously agreed to reschedule her show, and will now perform along with Howard Mahan & Friends on Thursday, July 30th. These two artist's styles compliment each other perfectly, and it will only make that date more special.

Tonight's scheduled concessionaire, Outsider's Tacos & More will not be set up in the park, but they have let us know that they will be open for business tomorrow from 11:00 am to 2:00 p.m. at the corner of 21st and Main Street.

This was a decision that was not made lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The safety and comfort of our patrons and performers is always a priority.

Combination of heavy rains, erosion and high winds caused a popular pecan tree to come down early Wednesday morning on city property in the south east corner of the Municipal building lot.

🚧 Recent Demo Completion at 2611 Felix 🚧

City crews have completed the demolition of deteriorated structures at 2611 Felix, helping improve safety and appearance in the neighborhood.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Kiwanis Pancake Special Train will not be operating until necessary repairs can be completed.
