Members of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany gathered for their regular morning meeting with fellow member Michael Mulhaul, President of Kiwanis International, in attendance alongside guest speaker Mayor Pulkit Desai.
A proud and longtime member of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany, Mulhaul has been part of the Kiwanis family since 1991. His attendance at the meeting reflected his continued connection to the club where he has served in leadership roles, including past president and treasurer.
Mulhaul’s service extends well beyond the local level. He is also a member of the Asbury Park Kiwanis Club and the Eye of the Tiger e-club, and has held numerous leadership positions throughout the New Jersey District, including Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and President of the New Jersey District Foundation.
Mayor Desai addressed members as the morning’s guest speaker, sharing updates and engaging with attendees on topics impacting the Parsippany-Troy Hills community. His presence highlighted the strong partnership between local government and community service organizations like Kiwanis.
During the meeting, members had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion, reinforcing the mission of Kiwanis — improving the world one child and one community at a time. The gathering reflected the strength of local leadership and the continued commitment to service that defines the organization.
A dedicated supporter of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, Mulhaul has been recognized with several of the organization’s highest honors, including George F. Hixson Fellow, Walter Zeller Fellow, and Dr. Wil Blechman Fellow. He has also earned the prestigious Tablet of Honor.
Professionally, Mulhaul brings more than 40 years of experience as an investment professional and has contributed to Kiwanis International through service on key committees, including chairing the Audit and Finance Committee and serving on the Executive and Risk Management Committees.
Mulhaul shares his commitment to service with his wife, Laura, also a Kiwanis member. Together, they have three adult children — Zach, Curtis, and Emily — along with a son-in-law, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
The morning meeting served as another example of how the Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany continues to bring together community leaders dedicated to making a positive impact locally and beyond.
