Shawn and Dee Tippets are a couple of the nicest people you will ever find anywhere. They have been coming out to Schwartz Sturgeon Pond for many years to fish and have brought tons of family and friends. Dee Dee made this wonderful sign for me and gave it to me a week of two ago when they were out fishing. I hung it above the door to the Gift Shop and it looks great. Thank you so much Dee Dee.

Had the pleasure to have this Veteran out to the pond today catching his first ever sturgeon. A good friend of his, also a Veteran, brought him out and with the friend's help and some help from another guy out fishing I let them bring a sturgeon up to his lap so he could get a picture with it.

This guy from Texas was out to fish at Schwartz Sturgeon Pond today for 3 or 4 hours and caught 50 or so sturgeon. He said he had a blast and even bought a 3 foot sturgeon to take home and eat.

Normally we are closed on Sunday but Schwartz Sturgeon Pond will be open again this coming Sunday Sept. 6th from 9am to 4pm as well as our regular hours of 9am to 4pm Tuesday thru Saturday during the week. Give me a call at 208-739-3819 if you want details or to schedule a fishing day. Sturgeon are biting like crazy. We also have some room left for the evening fishing time from 5pm to 8pm on Saturday Sept. 5th.
