This morning the President Park Fire Company conducted our annual Memorial Day services at the firehouse led by Company President William Parsons.

At this years service we remember our brother, Company Ex-President and Sayreville Exempt Fireman Kevin Marcinczyk, Sr. who entered into eternal rest on June 8, 2025.

We thank Kevin Wiater of Independence Fire Company - Engine 7 of the South Amboy Fire Department for the photo of our service and we thank the crew of "Broadway's Bravest" for standing by at President Park and covering the Borough while our company participates in memorial services in both Sayreville and South River, as well as the Sayreville Memorial Day Parade.

We wish everyone a safe Memorial Day Weekend! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Let us not forget those whom we honor and remember on this very special day: the men and women of our armed services who have given their lives in the defense of our great nation and our way of life.

We hope you will join us for the Borough of Sayreville Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2026. The parade steps off at Washington Rd. & Outlook Ave. at 10:00 AM. The parade proceeds down Washington towards South River and then turns right onto Main Street where it continues to Borough Hall.

We look forward to seeing you all!

150 years ago today, South Amboy got a little bit smaller!

Happy Birthday to the Borough of Sayreville!

Fun fact: on April 6th, 1876 we were incorporated as a Township, but we didn't actually become "the Boro" until April of 1919. Knowledge is power! πŸ˜„

Happy Birthday, Sayrevillle!

Sayreville Township was "born" on April 6, 1876 when the New Jersey State Legislature established it.

Happy 150th and here's to many more!
