Parkville Senior Center Council The Parkville Senior Center, a part of the BCDA, is an active community of over 1700 fun loving folks age 60+.

The center offers a wide range of wellness, educational, socialization opportunities as well as outreach to seniors.

Our outgoing president, John “Ed” Grey, was celebrated today for his incredible dedication — four years as president and twelve years on our council. From our award‑winning Classic Car Show (Ed’s pride and joy) to his beloved diamond art class, his passion for making Parkville a true second family shines in everything he does.

Today he was honored with a citation from County Executive Kathy Klausmeyer, presented by County Councilman Mike Ertel.

Towson University and the Baltimore County Department of Aging are partnering for an energizing, multigenerational celebration of wellness during Older Americans Month and in connection to National Senior Health and Fitness Day! The event will be held on Thursday, May 28 on TU’s campus.

We are delighted that John Hopkins is sponsoring therabands for the first 200 registrants for the event to encourage early registrations.
