Today we'd like to recognize and thank the dedicated members of the McCormick–Saluda–Edgefield Wildland Fire Crew.

These men volunteer their time to train, respond, and protect our communities when wildland fires threaten lives, homes, and natural resources. Their commitment requires long hours, teamwork, and a willingness to answer the call whenever they're needed.

We are incredibly grateful for their professionalism, dedication, and the sacrifices they make to keep our communities safe. Thank you for representing our counties with pride and for all that you do behind the scenes.

Parksville FD Fire Fighters and volunteers are at it again this year with a big 4th of July celebration! 🎉 This year is a big year as we celebrate 250 years since America gained its independence from the ol Great Britain. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Come out and celebrate with us. Enjoy some food, fellowship with friends and firefighters and enjoy the fireworks at sundown! We are so excited to have you all join us!

🚨 Community Notice 🚨
McCormick County residents may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and fire personnel in the area of the McCormick County School Complex due to a fire incident currently being addressed.
At this time, there have been NO reported injuries.
Please avoid the area if possible to allow first responders room to work safely and efficiently. We appreciate the quick response and dedication of all emergency personnel on scene.
