Blount Municipal Complex on the northeast corner of University Drive and Holmberg Road at 6600 University Drive, City Hall is the epicenter of the City’s administration. City Hall houses the Commission Chamber where City Commission meetings take place, the Office of the Mayor, the City Manager’s office, the City Clerk’s office, and the Departments of Communications, Building, Human Resources, Finance, Intergovernmental Relations, and Procurement. The City of Parkland has a population of approximately 34,000 and is located in the northwest corner of Broward County. Established in 1963, the City has grown from humble beginnings and is home to nine parks and five public schools. The City of Parkland does not allow comments on any type of posting.

On this Patriot Day, we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, honoring the nearly 3,000 lives lost, and remembering the families, friends, colleagues, and communities who carry their memories forward. At today's ceremony at the P-REC, we heard from community members, including our Patriot Day ceremony keynote speaker Jeff Schuh, a retired United States Marine, combat veteran, and Purple Heart recipient. The City of Parkland Mayor and City Commission issued a Patriot Day proclamation to Schuh during the ceremony.
