The Wood County Sheriff's Office has proudly served with honor, integrity, and pride since 1799. For over 200 years the Wood County Sheriff's Office has been rich in tradition, commitment, and bravery. Wood County was formed from portions of Harrison County and is named for James Wood, a brigadier general in the American Revolutionary War and a Governor of Virginia from 1796 to 1799. In 1799 Colonel William Lowther was named the first Sheriff of Wood County. Lowther was well known in the Mid-Ohio Valley for being a lion during a time of war and a lamb during a time of peace. History, describes by many accounts Colonel William Lowther of fighting for and protecting settlers. Lowther was known as a strong leader, defender, and protector of Northwestern Virginia. Those core values still exist today at the Wood County Sheriffs Office. In addition to Parkersburg the other cities that comprise Wood County are Vienna and Williamstown. The town of North Hills and communities of Belleville, Blennerhassett, Boaz, Bonnivale, Cedar Grove, Central, Chesterville, Dallison, Davisville, Deerwalk, Doyle, Eli, Fort Neal, Humphrey, Leachtown, Limestone, Lowdell, Lubeck, Kanawha, Mineral Wells, Murphytown, New England, Nicolette, Ogden, Pettyville, Pohick, Pond Creek, Rockport, Saulsbury, Slate, Tallyho, Valley Mills, Volcano, Wadesville, Walker, Washington, and Waverly. Wood County covers an area of 377 square miles. Wood County's northern and western boundary is the Ohio River. The Little Kanawha River flows northwestward through the county to its mouth at the Ohio River in Parkersburg. Tributaries of the Little Kanawha River in Wood County include Worthington Creek, Tygart Creek, and Walker Creek. Major highways include I-77, US 50, WV 2, WV 14, WV 31, WV 47, WV 68, and WV 95. As of the 2010 census the population of Wood County was 86,956. The dedication to duty and professionalism of our deputies always lets what this office represents shine through. Our courageous lawmen are keepers of the peace and proud public servants. Because of the spirit shown by our uniformed and non-uniformed civilian members we are second to none.

❖ June 12th Staunton Turnpike motor vehicle crash with injuries involving a Mercedes SUV and a GMC pickup with a dump trailer. The driver of the GMC stated he was attempting to turn into Atlas Truck and Trailer when he was struck from behind by the SUV. The vehicle had been pushed off of the roadway appearing to have little or no damage however the dump trailer had damage to the rear, the back door and under carriage. The driver of the Mercedes SUV was transported by EMS. Crash report taken.

❖ June 12th Citation issued to Tracy Diana McColligan age 53 of Sunset Boulevard for Expired Registration (9/2024).

❖ June 12th Rosemar Terrace reference to a domestic dispute between sisters. Upon Deputies arrival one female had already left in a vehicle. The vehicle and driver were located turning onto Central Avenue at which time a traffic stop was conducted. It was determined the domestic was verbal only with no crime. A citation was issued to Candice Dawn Knapp age 39 of Ann Court for Driving on Suspended/Revoked.

❖ June 13th I-77 mm 185 vehicle crash. The vehicle a Chevy Colorado was observed facing northbound in the median. The driver stated he had fallen asleep and went into the median. The vehicle was observed to have a flat passenger side rear tire and that a portion of the plastic on the back bumper had popped out but was not broken. The vehicle was towed.

❖ June 13th Citation issued to John Christopher Hegyi age 27 of Dustin Ct, Tipp City Ohio for Speeding 87 in a 65 mph zone.

❖ June 14th Speedway Road Grand Larceny of a green Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R. The victim/complainant reported that the motorcycle was parked in the event parking lot which was a large field full of vehicles. The key had been left in the motorcycle, also taken was a carbon fiber helmet with a purple visor and a black helmet with a purple visor.

❖ June 14th I-77 northbound vehicle crash. The truck was located facing south on the northbound shoulder against the guardrail. The driver stated he was traveling south when the truck hydroplaned entering the median then the northbound lanes where it collided with the guardrail. The truck was towed and no injuries reported.

❖ June 15th Elizabeth Pike (GoMart) in reference to a shoplifting that had already occurred. Upon arrival the male was last seen walking towards the Comfort Suites Hotel giving the Deputies the description of the male subject. The male was located and in possession of the stolen merchandise also stating he had possession of a controlled substance on his person. Francis Neal Waggoner age 62 of Burnthouse Road was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled substance and Shoplifting. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed pending his arraignment.

❖ June 15th Wilbur Street warrant service. Michael Paul Rush age 20 of 9th Avenue, Vienna was arrested on the warrant for charges of Leaving the Scene with injuries and Reckless Driving. The warrant was issued through the Wood County Sheriff Department stemming from a hit and run and reckless driving which had occurred on DuPont Road on 6/14/2026. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing, arraigned where he was unable to post bond and was confined back into the Holding Center.

❖ June 16th Traffic stop. Deryl Edward Wilson Jr age 56 of Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell Ohio was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled substance. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed pending his arraignment.

❖ June 16th Emerson Avenue/Deerwalk Highway vehicle crash. One vehicle towed the other vehicle driven from the scene with no injuries reported. Crash report taken.

❖ June 16th Staunton Turnpike crash involving a deer. The driver stated she was heading westbound towards Parkersburg when she struck the deer. The vehicle was towed.

❖ June 16th Sams Creek and Badgley Fork Road Vehicle crash involving truck/trailer and a dirt bike. The driver of the truck stated both dirt bikes were traveling at a high rate of speed as he attempted to move his vehicle to the right side of the roadway as he was hauling a trailer, one of the dirt bikes struck the trailer. One dirt bike struck the trailer the other driver of the other dirt bike laid his bike down in the process. A family member arrived and took one of the dirt bike driver’s home with minor road rash, the other dirt bike driver striking the trailer was transported by EMS to CCMC with injuries.

❖ June 17th Elizabeth Pike Comfort Suites reference to a box truck striking the front door overhang. The driver stated he did not realize that the overhang was that low when he attempted to pass under it. Damage was observed to the south end of the overhang of the business and to the front of the box truck.

❖ June 17th Citation issued to India Jade Merritt age 22 of State Route 555, Little Hocking Ohio for Speeding 87 in a 65 mph zone.

❖ June 17th Airport Industrial Park Road domestic in progress. Deputies were advised the male had left in a vehicle heading back towards Emerson Avenue. Deputies spoke with the female who had a visible cut above her eye with EMS evaluating the injury. A traffic stop was made with the suspected male involved. Shad Michael Knight age 33 of 19th Street, Vienna was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery and Fleeing in vehicle. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center, arraigned and given a $2,500.00 surety bond which he posted.

❖ June 17th Intersection of US 50 and Deerwalk Highway two vehicle crash. Several fire personnel were tending to the injured parties involved in the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado was transported by EMS to CCMC his passenger was transported by a personal vehicle to CCMC. The driver and passenger of the Hyundai were transported by EMS. Citation issued to Michaela Danae Diehl age 31 of Poplar Avenue, Belpre Ohio for Failure to Yield through Highway and Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device.

❖ June 5th Traffic Stop. Eric Kevin Cullum II age 35 of Briscoe Road was arrested on charges of Fugitive from Justice as he was wanted out of Washington County Ohio with full extradition. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed.

❖ June 5th Elizabeth Pike and Dale Drive vehicle crash. Crash report taken with no injuries reported.

❖ June 5th Citation issued to Teresa Louise Duvall age 64 of Rolling River Road, Cairo WV for Speeding 68 in a 50 mph zone.

❖ June 5th Citation issued to Chasta Nicole Hartness age 38 of Third Run Road, Harrisville WV for Speeding 70 in a 50 mph construction zone.

❖ June 5th Montero Drive/Red Hill Road suspicious vehicle. Vehicle located unoccupied and unattended with note stating tow truck coming. The vehicle was left at this time to be checked at a later time. The Deputy later returned with the vehicle still in the same spot at this time a wrecker was called and the vehicle towed. The plate was taken from the vehicle.

❖ June 5th Citation issued to Kathy Leann Jones age 61 of Sellers Lane, Ellenboro WV for Speeding 69 in a 50 mph construction zone.

❖ June 5th Citation issued to Jill A Compton age 64 of Mason Drive, Petroleum WV for Speeding 70 in a 50 mph construction zone.

❖ June 6th Midnight Lane Breaking and Entering. The complainant reported that the door had been kicked in as well as a shed out back of the residence. At this time the only item missing was a large green air compressor.

❖ June 6th Emerson Avenue vehicle crash involving a deer. Damage was observed to the driver side front end. The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. No injuries reported.

❖ June 7th Deerwalk Highway vehicle crash (Ford Edge and a Polaris ATV). Minor cosmetic damage observed on the front passenger side of the Ford Edge, functional damage observed on the front left wheel of the Polaris ATV. No injuries reported and neither vehicle was towed from the scene.

❖ June 6th Citation issued to Shelly Becka McCoy age 29 of Calhoun Homes Drive, Mount Zion WV for Red Light Violation.

❖ June 7th Powell Drive reference to domestic disturbance. Keith Rynell Kelley II age 21 of Oak Street was arrested on 2 counts of Domestic Battery. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending his arraignment.

❖ June 7th Neil Denver Sprout age 49 of S. 3rd Street was arrested on a warrant for Hunting or Fishing on revoked license. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing, arraigned and released on bond.

❖ June 7th Citation issued to Connor Julian Sams age 23 of Greenmont Hills Drive for Reckless Driving and Expired Registration (7/2025).

❖ June 8th Fries Parkway and Fort Boreman Drive vehicle crash with no injuries. Information gathered from the drivers with one of the drivers stating he did not have a license. Nathaniel Mason Smith age 30 of Chateau Hills Ct. was arrested as he had been entered NCIC being wanted out of Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation on a Parole Violation. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center.

❖ June 8th Monitoring traffic US RT 50 w near Dutch Ridge Road observed a vehicle appearing to be traveling at a high rate of speed through the one lane construction zone. It was also observed that WVDOH workers to be out of their vehicles and near the orange construction cones near the open lane and due to the speed and proximity of the workers to the road this posed a high risk for serious injury or death. Carl Clinton Argabrite age 30 of 9th Avenue was arrested on charges of Reckless Driving. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing, arraigned and released on bond.

❖ June 8th Cedar Grove Road Larceny. 3D Construction had several tools taken from the site with Hornbeck Plumbing also advising that items had been take as well.

❖ June 8th Citation issued to Kyle Joseph Phillips age 33 of Staunton Turnpike for Speeding 69 in a 55 mph zone.

❖ June 8th Citation issued to Brandon Albert Bennett age 41 of Tanner Lane for Speeding 71 in a 55 mph zone.

❖ June 8th Hospitality Lane unwanted male on the property. Upon arrival the male was located with the hotel owner advising he wished for the male to be trespassed from the property. The male left the area. Later in the night Deputies again responded to the hotel with the male attempting to break into vehicles. Abdullahi Mahamed Isack age 29 of Stewart Street, Morgantown WV was arrested on charges of Auto Tampering and Trespassing. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending arraignment.

❖ June 9th Citation issued to Alissa Ann Dobbins age 32 of 3rd Street, Marietta Ohio for No Seatbelt and No Insurance. She was advised to park the vehicle until Insurance could be obtained.

❖ June 9th US 50 single vehicle crash. The driver stated while traveling eastbound the vehicle hydroplaned striking the center median barrier. The vehicle was towed with the driver sustaining a minor injury to his hand. Crash report taken.

❖ June 9th Meadowview Circle domestic situation. Kathy O’Neill Riffle age 72 of 24th Street, Vienna was arrested on a DV bond violation. She was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending her arraignment.

❖ June 9th Pettyville Road single vehicle crash. The driver stated a bug had flown into his eye causing him to swerve and run off the roadway with the vehicle going down the embankment rolling over onto the vehicle right side. Crash report taken and no injuries reported.

❖ June 10th Citation issued to Aaron Donell Holland age 36 of Tajoute Avenue Carson CA for Speeding 96 in a 65 mph zone.

❖ June 10th Citation issued to Kaydence Elysabeth Marsh age 19 of Victoria Avenue NW, Canton Ohio for Speeding 91 in a 70 mph zone.

❖ June 10th Citations issued to Andra Jane Devin age 46 of Meadville Road for Speeding 102 in a 70 mph zone, Reckless Driving and Expired Registration (2/2026).

❖ June 10th Staunton Turnpike vehicle crash. The driver stated that while traveling east in the roadway she drove into a fallen down tree which was in the road. The Deputy closed the eastbound lane as it contained most of the debris, all the spilled oil and now the disabled vehicle. The vehicle was towed and a crash report taken. No injuries reported.

❖ June 11th Lubeck Road in reference to a domestic where Central Dispatch advised they had an open line but nothing was heard. The complainant/victim advised the male had left prior to Deputies arrival. Andrew William Lee Slider age 24 of Grandview Manor was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending his arraignment.

❖ June 11th Austin Nathaniel Hendricks age 30 of Bartlett Street turned himself in on a warrant for Battery of a Government Representative. He was process, arraigned where he posted a $3,000.00 Surety bond.

❖ June 11th Meadowview Circle warrant service. Thomas Michael Underwood age 31 of Meadowview Circle was arrested on the warrant for Grand Larceny issued through the Parkersburg Police Department and current charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center.

❖ June 11th Woodberry Lane vehicle crash. Both vehicles sustained minor damage with both being able to be driven from the scene. Drivers exchanged insurance information.

❖ June 11th Citation issued to Isabella Rose Wolfe age 19 of Hugh Street for Speeding 78 in a 45 mph zone.

❖ May 29th Citation issued to Corey Ray Lively age 22 of Jodie Road, Gauley Bridge WV for Speeding 82 in a 55 mph zone.

❖ May 29th Deputies were contacted by Jackson County for assistance in locating a female who was entered NCIC and was possibly in Wood County. Emily Beth Archer age 44 of Lockhart Fork Road, Sandyville WV was arrested on warrants issued out of Jackson County for (1) Burglary (2) Conspiracy to commit a felony (3) Grand Larceny. She was transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed pending her arraignment.

❖ May 29th Produce Lane warrant attempt. Douglas L. Malone Sr. age 51 of Produce Lane, Vienna was arrested on the Capias issued through the Circuit Court. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed.

❖ May 29th Tims Lane reference to domestic situation. Timothy David Graham age 42 of Tims Lane was arrested on charges of 2 counts of Domestic Battery. Miranda Ladonna Sabatino age 36 of Tims Lane was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery and Obstructing Officer and a 16 year old juvenile female was transported to a Juvenile facility. Mr. Graham and Ms. Sabatino were transported and processed at the Holding Center.

❖ May 30th Rosemar Road warrant attempt. Tiffany Nicole Waybright age 45 was arrested on the warrant for 2 counts of Contributing to delinquency of a child and Obstructing Law Enforcement. She was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending her arraignment.

❖ May 30th I-77 north 181mm vehicle crash. The vehicle had been traveling north on I-77 when it went into the median coming to a stop. The vehicle appeared to have no damage, however the side window airbags had deployed. The vehicle was towed and a crash report taken.

❖ May 30th Dutch Ridge Road vehicle crash with property damage. The vehicle had been attempting to turn around by backing into the driveway, while backing the rear of the vehicle mad contact with the chain barrier striking it with the trailer hitch. The tension on the chain transferred force to the supportive structure causing the right side wooden post to break off at ground level. The property owner was on scene and both agreed to handle the matter civilly.

❖ May 30th Citation issued to Daniel Alvin Collins age 42 of Lake Washington Road for Expired Registration and Obstructed View of Registration.

❖ May 30th 15th Avenue warrant attempt. Dakota Joseph Prive age 28 of 15th Avenue was arrested on the warrant for charges of Trespassing. The warrant was issued through the Wood County Sheriff Department. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending his arraignment.

❖ May 31st Lee Creek Road and Harris Highway suspicious subject walking along the roadway. The male advised he had driven his vehicle off the roadway and was attempting to find someone to assist instead of a tow truck. Jimmy Jack Vandal age 38 of Leading Creek Road, Brohard WV was arrested on charges of (1) Driving on Suspended/Revoked (2) No Insurance (3) Improper Registration (4) Expired Registration. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed.

❖ May 31st New Life Way larceny. The complainant/victim reported that unknown person(s) had stolen her mailbox and post while she was out of town.

❖ May 31st Citation issued to Amy Lea Clatworthy age 35 of 29th Street Vienna for Speeding 69 in a 40 mph zone.

❖ May 31st Citation issued to Allan Duncan Segrest Jr age 53 of Northwood Villa Lane for Speeding 96 in a 65 mph zone.

❖ May 31st Citation issued to Jaden Kristopher Anderson age 23 of Henderson Avenue for Speeding 94 in a 65 mph zone.

❖ May 31st Fries Parkway vehicle crash. The driver reported that deer had entered the roadway and collided with the front end of the vehicle. Damage was observed to the front passenger headlight and the immediate area around the headlight.

❖ May 31st Citation issued to Russell Sean Haverty age 56 of S. Sandusky Avenue, Bucyrus Ohio for Speeding 70 in a 45 mph zone.

❖ May 31st Elizabeth Pike (Go-Mart) reference to a Can –Am Side by Side and an ATV actively “revving” their engines in the parking lot. Due to the loud noise both were advised to turn the vehicles off, the driver of the Side-by-Side complied, the driver of the ATV was not compliant and began to shout profanity. The driver of the ATV Darrion Isaac Cale age 24 of Fleak Lane was arrested on charges of (1) DUI greater than .150 (2) Obstructing (3) Driving on Suspended/Revoked DUI 1st offense. The driver of the Can-Am Side by Side Jarrett Mark Adams age 24 of Little Creek Road, LeRoy WV was arrested on charges of DUI greater than .150. Both were transported to the Holding Center for processing.

❖ June 1st Meadowview Drive reference to a warrant service. Clinton Frederick Knotts age 36 of 6th Avenue was arrested on a felony warrant for Breaking and Entering. Char Leigh Stout age 44 of 6th Avenue was arrested on a felony warrant for Breaking and Entering. Both were transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed. Warrants were issued through the Wood County Sheriff Department.

❖ June 1st Traffic Stop. David Evan Wildman age 25 of Whispering Pines Ct was arrested on a warrant for Domestic Battery. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center, arraigned before a Magistrate and released on a PR bond.

❖ June 1st Cedar Grove Road, vehicle entry/tampering. The complainant/victim reported that unknown person(s) had entered two of the unlocked vehicles in his driveway tampering with the ignition on both. One of the vehicles had the key cylinder appearing to be damaged, the other vehicle ignition was damaged to the point the key would no longer start the vehicle.

❖ June 1st Citation issued to Lilly Alexandra Smith age 19 of James Ct. for No Operators.

❖ June 1st Citation issued to Jessica Dawn Joy age 28 of 39th Street for Speeding 90 in a 65 mph zone.

❖ June 2nd Citation issued to Robert Kenneth Davis II age 75 of Sweet Williams Drive, Pataskala Ohio for Speeding 88 in a 55 mph zone.

❖ June 2nd Citation issued to Darren Douglas Rejonis of Pleasant Grove Road, Dillonvale Ohio for Speeding 42 in a 25 mph zone and No Proof of Insurance.

❖ June 2nd Traffic Stop. Citations issued to Bo Raymond Hupp age 19 of Park Avenue for (1) Speeding 89 in a 65 mph zone and No Operators (2) Possession of a Controlled Substance and Open Container in vehicle.

❖ Jun 2nd Samantha JoAnn Leep age 41 of Grand Central Avenue was arrested on warrants for Obstructing and 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance these warrant were issued through the Vienna Police Department. She was also charged with Obstructing involving the arrest incident with the Wood County Sheriff Department. She was transported and processed at the Holding Center and then taken for medical clearance.

❖ June 3rd Smith Golf Drive stolen two seat go-cart. The Complainant/Victim reported that a two seat go-cart had been taken from his carport. While investigating this incident another call came in close by on Gihon Road where a subject was observed on camera by another Complainant/Victim in reference to a subject entering their vehicle and where he had also busted a side door causing the door frame to be split. The Deputies canvassed the area locating the male setting on a go-cart described as the one being stolen. Dustin James Whytsell age 29 of Broadway Avenue was arrested on charges of Burglary with other charges pending.

❖ June 3rd Raymond Michael Adkins age 47 of 16th Street was arrested on a Felony Capias. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing and then taken for Medical Clearance.

❖ June 3rd US 50 mm 9.5 vehicle blocking the roadway. Vehicle observed parked halfway in the roadway at the I-77 north exit positioned on US 50 unoccupied and displaying no registration plate. Contact with the owner was unsuccessful and with the vehicle near a busy intersection with poor visibility the vehicle was towed.

❖ June 4th Alpine Street Grand Larceny of a vehicle. The complainant/victim reported that her 2012 Hyundai Elentra had been stolen. The vehicle has been entered NCIC as a stolen vehicle.

❖ June 4th Staunton Turnpike Grand Larceny of a utility trailer. The complainant/victim reported that unknown person(s) had removed a 2018 Cargo-Mate trailer with the trailer containing camping equipment. The trailer has been entered NCIC as stolen.

 May 21st Lost Pavement vehicle crash involving a deer. Damage was observed to the front grill, front bumper, hood, left headlight area, radiator and the core support was damaged. The driver had drove the vehicle home before calling Law Enforcement.

 May 21st Twin Lakes Road and Rector Road two vehicle crash. One vehicle was towed the other driven from the scene. Crash report taken.

 May 21st Citation issued to Aaron Casey Brooks age 34 of 5th Street, Marietta Ohio for No Insurance and No Operators.

 May 21st Jacqueline Gabrielle Fisher age 37 of Pike Street was arrested on charges of (1) Burglary (2) Grand Larceny (3) Possession of stolen property (4) Retaliation. She was transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed pending arraignment.

 May 22nd Harris Highway vehicle crash no injuries. The vehicle was located over the embankment. The driver reported that the vehicle in front of him had to brake hard and due to the wet roadway he lost control and went off the road to the right over the embankment about 15 feet where it came to rest against the trees on the passenger side. Vehicle towed.

 May 22nd I-77 at the 162.5 mm single vehicle crash. The vehicle had been traveling north in the left lane when the driver lost control and exited the roadway to the left entering the median striking the median cable barrier causing damage to five of the cable barrier post. The vehicle came to rest in the median against the barrier facing north. Vehicle towed and crash report taken.

 May 22nd Citation issued to Bradley Michael Maggard age 43 of Woodlawn Ridge Road for Failure to move over for approaching an Emergency vehicle.

 May 22nd Traffic stop the driver David Evan Wildman age 25 of Whispering Pines Ct was arrested on a warrant for Shoplifting issued through the Parkersburg Police Department and current charges of No Insurance. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing, arraigned and released on bond.

 May 23rd Desirae Lynn Conkle age 30 of 6th Avenue was arrested on a Capias for Trespassing. She was transported and processed at the Holding Center and then arraigned. She was placed back into the Holding Center until she could contact a bondsman.

 May 23rd Citation issued to Jacqueline Michelle Cavendish age 54 of Jason Drive, Cross Lanes WV for Speeding 64 in a 45 mph zone.

 May 23rd Citation issued to Molly Kiger Roberts age 40 of Doolin Drive, Williamstown for Speeding 60 in a 45 mph zone.

 May 23rd Traffic stop citation issued to Justin Andrew Beardsley age 38 of Valley Manor Lane, Williamstown for Reckless Driving and Driving on Suspended/Revoked.

 May 23rd Citation issued to Steven Bradley Doyle age 30 of Lincoln Drive, Mineral Wells for Speeding 79 in a 65 mph zone.

 May 23rd Citation issued to Brian Redgie Taylor age 49 of Rosemar Meadows Drive, Vienna for Speeding 83 in a 65 mph zone.

 May 23rd Traffic stop as the vehicle was observed with a heavily damaged windshield. Citation issued to Timothy Wilson Ward age 45 of Bird Street for Defective Equipment and Possession of Ma*****na.

 May 23rd Citation issued to Tina Marie Chandler age 41 of Biltmore Avenue, Wheeling WV for Speeding 85 in a 70 mph zone

 May 23rd Frontage Road. Sarah Ann Wyatt age 37 of Mary Street was arrested on charges of Fugitive from Justice as she was wanted out of Meigs County Ohio. She was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending her arraignment.

 May 23rd Morgan Marie Francis age 41 of Spring Street was arrested on a warrant for Trespassing. She was transported and processed at the Holding Center and arraigned.

 May 24th I-77 vehicle crash involving a deer. Due to the extent of the front end damage the vehicle was not able to be driven it was towed. No injuries were reported.

 May 24th I-77 reference to a call of a disorderly motorist. The vehicle was located with the Deputy pacing the suspect vehicle through the construction zone exiting the construction zone a traffic top was initiated. Evan Raymond Lamp age 25 of 6th Street, Saint Mary’s WV was arrested on charges of DUI and Speeding in a Construction zone. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending arraignment.

 May 24th Staunton Turnpike vehicle crash involving a utility pole. The utility pole was split in half and still being supported by the lines. The lines were draped across the roadway just high enough for a passenger vehicle to pass under. The driver stated he had lost control of the vehicle causing him to exit the roadway to the right striking the pole. The vehicle was towed and a family member arrived to take the driver home. Mon power arrived to begin working on the damages. Crash report taken.

 May 24th I-77 mm 186.8 vehicle crash. The crash was located which had overturned and came to rest on its roof positioned perpendicular to the roadway. The driver reported that while traveling northbound she lost control striking the concrete barrier wall, causing the vehicle to flip and overturn before coming to rest. Despite no reported injuries both the driver and juvenile passenger were transported by EMS to MMH for evaluation. Vehicle was towed and crash report taken.

 May 24th US RT 50 motorcycle crash. The operator of the motorcycle reported that while coming up the hill his bike hydroplaned causing him to go sideways before the bike laid down and entered the median. A friend was coming to get the bike and a crash report taken. No injuries.

 May 24th I-77 vehicle crash. The driver reported she was traveling south entering the construction zone near US RT 50. The vehicle hydroplaned striking the construction cones and then hit the right hand side barrier before crossing back into the lane and striking the left hand side barrier finally coming to a stop. There were marks on the passenger side of the vehicle and the front rim on the driver side was bent with the tire off. Crash report taken and the vehicle was towed.

 May 24th Citation issued to Tracy Lynn Florence age 39 of Dickens Drive for Driving on Suspended/Revoked.

 May 25th Chateau Hills Ct. warrant service. John Edward Boston age 42 of Mineral Wells was arrested on Capias warrants. He was transported to the Holding Center where he was processed and confined pending his arraignment.

 May 25th Lynn Street in reference to a warrant service. Jaron Decanis Cunningham age 33 of Lynn Street was arrested on a warrant for Violation of a Domestic Violence Protective order. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and confined pending his arraignment.

 May 25th Emerson Avenue Motel 6 Larceny. The complainant/victim reported that fishing gear and a Penn fishing pole was taken from his boat while parked in the parking lot of the Motel 6.

 May 25th Dutch Ridge Road reference to a domestic call. Nathan Jay Hartness age 57 of Eoff Street, Wheeling WV was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing and confined pending his arraignment.

 May 26th Emerson Avenue vehicle crash involving two vehicles. Several lines were down with three utility poles. Both vehicles were towed with one driver being transported by EMS for evaluation. Crash report taken.

 May 26th Williamstown Pike unknown problem. Levi Marcus Weidner age 23 of High Street, Vincent Ohio was arrested on charges of Obstructing Officer and Providing False Statements. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center, arraigned and released on a $400.00 PR bond.

 May 26th Traffic Stop Emerson Avenue Expired Registration (3/2025). The driver stated she was aware of the registration as she had been cited by Belpre PD, also stating the vehicle had No Insurance. Citation issued to Kassidy Michelle Kincaid age 28 of N Pleasants Hwy, Saint Mary’s WV was issued a citation for No Insurance and given a verbal warning for the expired registration. The vehicle was towed.

 May 27th RT 50 eastbound single vehicle crash. The driver reported that while traveling eastbound in the right hand lane the vehicle hydroplaned and struck the center divider near the RT 68 overpass, this caused the vehicle to rotate around and the passenger side rear further struck the divider. He was able to drive the vehicle out of the roadway. Crash report taken.

 May 27th Oak Grove Road vehicle crash. The driver reported that while negotiating a curve he lost control of the vehicle where it exited the roadway to the left and collided with a tree. The vehicle was observed to have heavy front end damage. Crash report taken.

 May 27th Burns Road reference to domestic altercation which had already occurred. Thereasa Joyce Ann Nicole Byrd age 32 of Burns Road, Rockport was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery. She was transported to the Holding Center for processing and placed pending her arraignment.

 May 28th 21st Street Vienna reference to a warrant service. Martin Gale Collins II age 46 of 21st Street was arrested on the warrant for Violation of a Protective Order and current charges of Obstructing and Battery of a Law Enforcement Officer. He was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed pending his arraignment.

 May 28th Elizabeth Pike single vehicle crash. The driver advised he had been traveling northbound when he lost control of the vehicle before going off the roadway right into the ditch. The vehicle was towed.

 May 28th Viscose Road and Mineral Manor Way vehicle in a ditch. The vehicle was observed in the ditch off the roadway left with the rear passenger wheel suspended in the air. The driver advised he was attempting to turn around in the roadway and did not know the ditch was as deep as it was. The vehicle was towed.

 May 28th Egypt Run Road in an attempt to serve a full extradition warrant requested by Washington County Ohio. Brittany Jean Collins age 33 of Paddle Run Road was arrested on charges of Fugitive from Justice as she was wanted out of Washington County Ohio. She was transported and processed at the Holding Center and placed.

 May 28th Wood Street domestic which had already occurred. Katie Joel Gains age 32 of 9th Avenue was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery. She was transported and processed at the Holding Center, arraigned and released on a PR bond.

 May 28th Citation issued to Robbie Lee Cottrill Jr age 49 of Ewing Ridge Road for Driving on Suspended/Revoked.
