That's a rap for the 2018 season. Too many high water days made everything to muddy to make any real progress this fall. Need to fine tune the process next season but the slip form worked pretty well considering everything.
(16' of wall built at 41 bags at 80 #/Ea.)

It's been a busy few days leveling up the wall. That's a rap for this season and next year plan come up with a better method to top out with. At least up out of the water now.

Floods - Countless times the water has jumped the banks. This photo is from the winter of 1995. Docks were in storage and no damage reported. It was a transitional time for the marina with the passing of the founder Bob Smith.

The Flotilla Marina has been hit by 2 runaway barges over the years. On this occasion in 1989, a upstream bound barge broke some ropes and got away from the captain. Damage assessment was 3 boats totaled, 2 banged up, and one dock sent to the scrap yard.
