Special shoutout to the West Virginia K-9 Search and Rescue, Inc. and The Fetch Foundation for donating 2 Fido Bags. These 2 bags will be placed on our rapid response vehicles which respond all structure fires and high priority calls. Thank you so much for your donations and educational items that could possibly help save your 4 legged family members one day!💙🐶🦮🐕‍🦺🐾💛

~The Fetch Foundation announces through generous donations, your local area fire department has been supplied with FIDO Bag(s). The FIDO Bag M Program supplies firefighters with lifesaving tools to administer medical attention to your family's pet at the point of rescue. "In cases such as fire or automobile accidents etc. fire fighters need special tools on their trucks to save your best four legged friends life just as they do you" states Marie Peck - founder of The Fetch Foundation. "Pets are considered family and now they will have the tools to save their lives in an emergency. "There is no doubt in my mind these firefighters will utilize this equipment and training. The community both human AND animal will thank them for it with an outpouring of support and gratitude" comments Peck. "It is especially gratifying to see equipment go to first responders that seek us out and understand the value the FIDO Bag program brings to the community they serve every day".
The Fetch Foundation is a 501c3 organization. This unique nonprofit charity is dedicated to serve our community while saving you and your pets. The Fetch Foundation's vision is to have a FIDO BAGC on every fire truck in the country starting here in your community and to provide rescued dogs an opportunity to be heroes in our community by rehoming and training for both K9 Search and Rescue teams as well as Military Veterans with PTSD. We are super excited to show off our latest wrap supporting an amazing cause that several of our staff hold dear to their hearts. This ambulance wouldn’t be possible without the support of WVU Medicine Camden Clark’s Foundation. They have gone above and beyond for our ambulance service and we cannot thank them enough. We would also like to thank Emily Kent for all the wrapping of our ambulance service. She’s a very talented young lady.

We’re proud to announce a major advancement in emergency care for Wood County and surrounding communities: Camden Clark Ambulance Service is now equipped to administer blood in the field during both trauma and non-trauma emergencies. This game-changing service can significantly improve a patient’s chance of survival before they even reach the hospital.

This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible generosity of our partners:
👏 The WVU Medicine Camden Clark Foundation
👏 The Spartan Foundation
👏 The Antero Foundation

Thanks to their support, we were able to purchase a specialized emergency response vehicle designed to safely store and transport blood from the hospital directly to the scene.
A heartfelt thank you as well to our hospital leadership and trauma surgeon Dr. Roberts for championing this initiative every step of the way.
This is a big win for our community—and another way we’re proud to answer the call when every second counts. 💙

‼️ Important Post‼️

Don’t forget, we are in need of donations of cakes, pies, cookies for our Ice Cream Social. Any baked items will do! They can be homemade or store-bought! We really do appreciate it! With the changing times we have done away with our cake call lists, as many people do not have landlines anymore. Don’t let that deter you, please donate!

Please drop off your donation at the Vienna Fire Department anytime Thursday, June 12th or Friday, June 13th. Or call the station at 304-295-5652 on those days to have us come pick them up if you’re unable. The Ice Cream Social begins at 6 PM Friday, June 13! Thank you for your continued support!
