Colorado National Guard Parker Recruiting Station The National Guard was established in 1636, and is the oldest of all of the Armed Forces.

Members of the Colorado Army National Guard serve one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer, for a total of just 39 days a year!

We are in December, if you and your senior are starting to apply for colleges and realizing the expense is overwhelming you’re not alone.

Most Colorado Army National Guard Soldiers joined for the tuition assistance help! Unlike the reserves, the Colorado Army National Guard offers both state & and federal tuition assistance.

College is expensive! Let me help you! If you have any questions about the National Guard, please feel free to contact me.

Did you know that a soldier earns college credit for basic training and job training in addition to a paycheck. A lot of soldiers can bypass 1st semester and start college with thousands in the bank. In addition to tuition assistance, we offer the G.I. Bill $466 per month just to go to school along with a paycheck.

Our soldiers are also offered full medical, dental, and 401k options.

Thank you, Mr. Spohn! Mr. Spohn is the Auto Shop teacher at Elizabeth High School, and he gave us the opportunity to come talk to his students about the Colorado Army National Guard. The students learned about how the National Guard is always ready for anything the state of Colorado needs and the benefits of joining the Colorado Guard. SSG Penaloza, SGT Norcross, Chief Vasquez and Spc Kolar were part of the seven classroom presentations.
