Military and Overseas voters, and their dependent family members, have special voting rights under the Uniformed & Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA).

This means they can register to vote, request an early ballot sent 45 days before the election and upload their voter ballot through the Secretary of State's secure portal.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of La Paz County Superior Court Judge Marcus Kelley. Since 2022, Judge Kelley served our community with integrity, fairness, and a profound respect for the law.

He was passionate about his work and recently delivered a meaningful message at Rule of Law Day, reminding attorneys of their responsibility to uphold justice—reflecting the values he lived by every day.

Judge Kelley was also a devoted family man, a trusted colleague, and a mentor to many. His leadership and steady presence will be greatly missed across our organization and throughout La Paz County.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the Superior Court team. Information regarding services or ways to honor his life will be shared when available.

Please keep his loved ones and the Superior Court staff in your thoughts during this difficult time.
