Maine Township Assessor Susan Moylan-Krey would like to inform residents that the Cook County Board of Review has opened the 2026 property tax appeal period for Maine Township. Her office will assist in filing appeals between August 31 and September 23, 2026. Residents in Maine Township who need assistance with filing appeals or finding comparable properties do not need to come to the office. They can now easily request assistance with filing an appeal by completing the 2026 Maine Township Appeal In-Take Form. This form is available on the Maine Township website or at the office located at 1700 Ballard Rd. in Park Ridge.

By submitting the form, residents authorize the Maine Township Assessor’s Office to complete and submit their 2026 property appeal on their behalf. Once the appeal has been processed, they will receive a confirmation email from Maine Township. To ensure timely submission, all forms must be received no later than 4 p.m. on September 23.
