The Rebel golf program would like to thank Bogey Creek Golf Course for all their support, and generosity this season. They are the best host course around! Thank you to Dustin Hoehn for making sure the boys were always taken care of. We made some great memories this year and were also able to help try and leave our mark on the course. We had group divot fixing sessions, donated money to help build the new range signs, and even got to work on rebuilding a practice bunker. The facilities are looking great and the summer work has begun. We are very excited about the future!

After another series of weather delays we got to finish up the State Tournament at Sedalia today! Treyton had a really good round shooting 81 and moved up in the individual leaderboard to tied for 69th. Overall he played really well both days, and played in some pretty crappy conditions. We made the most of it, and enjoyed the experience together. We are already looking forward to the off season getting the whole team ready for next year! Congrats to all the other local MAAA golfers out there as well. Today we got to play with some familiar faces which is always a bonus.

Day one of the 2026 State Tournament at Sedalia Country Club got off to a late start at 3pm due to storm delays. We had to shot gun start and although the course was looking really nice, it was soaked after all the rain from last night and today. Treyton put together some pretty good holes to finish up right at dark with an 87. He is currently in 78th out of 96 golfers. Hopefully the rain and storms hold off tonight so we can get the second day in, and tee off like normal. Stay tuned!

Yesterday the Rebels hosted the Class 3 District 1 golf tournament at Bogey Creek Golf Club. We shot a team score of 378 finishing up in 11th out of 18 schools represented in the field. The cut this year was 88. Cain Crocker and Jackson Morris both put together solid rounds just missing it by 1 and 2 strokes. The good news is everyone will be back again next year for another chance to break through.

Treyton McFarland put a solid round together yesterday posting an 81. This earned him a 9th place finish. He earned All-District for the second time and is now a 2 time state qualifier. After watching him miss the cut by 1 stroke last year, I know he is relieved and his determination and work ethic got it done this year. May 17th-19th he will be traveling to Sedalia Country Club to compete in the State Tournament!

Thank you to all the players and parents this season. The kids spend countless hours on the course, with many practices ending at dark or after because they don’t want to leave.. It’s paying off and the future is bright.

On Friday the Rebel Golf team traveled up to Oak Valley Golf Course for a march with Herky, Hillsboro, and Crystal City. We finished in second with a team score of 196, 5 strokes behind Hillsboro. Treyton finished up tied with the low score for the day at 44! After the round we all went out to enjoy some dinner and music together.

Today we wrapped up the conference schedule shooting a team score of 184 edging Arcadia Valley’s 186. Farmington finished in first shooting a great team score of 156! The team score was led again by Treyton McFarland shooting a solid 40, finishing 4th individually. Cain Crocker shot 47, Quinton Walter added a 48 and Jackson Morris sealed the team score with a 49.

Tonight the Rebel golf team made a trip down to Perryville Country Club and played a match on a new course for all of us. It was in really nice shape and we posted some solid scores. We finished one stroke behind Perryville to lose a close match 184-183. Treyton was the medalist posting a 42 with a walk off birdie to clutch an individual 1st place finish. Jackson morris finished in 3rd overall with a 44. Cain Crocker added a 46. And Brody Pigg finished off the team score with a 52. Tomorrow we play at home in a make up conference match to wrap up the conference regular season.

This bad weather may have kept us off the course, but it didn’t stop us from swinging a club! This was a much needed day as we prep for the end of a busy season. Thank you so much to the ownership and staff at The Sand Trap Indoor Golf Club. We had some great food and an awesome practice today!
