St. Joe State Park

St. Joe State Park The OFFICIAL page for St. Joe State Park located in Park Hills, Mo. The Missouri State Park

The roar of engines breaks the stillness of the Old Lead Belt at St. Joe State Park, one of two off-road vehicle parks in the state park system. The many trails set aside for off-road vehicle use make the park the premiere off-road vehicle area. The park also features four lakes, two swimming beaches, equestrian trails, a hiking and bicycling trail, a water trail, and picnic sites, as well as two campgrounds capable of accommodating campers with ORV or horse trailers.

Volunteer with us!

Hey trail lovers! Ready to swap your screen time for some green time?

The awesome team at St. Joe State Park is looking for volunteers to help us give some much-needed TLC to the beautiful Pine Ridge Trail on Friday, June 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If you love hiking, being outdoors and helping to keep our parks looking good, this is your chance to make a difference! Come spend the morning with us, where we’ll be clearing debris, blazing and repairing a scenic 2.5-mile section of the trail.

Meet at the Harris Branch Trailhead
Volunteers will receive well-deserved lunch break right on the trail, and we'll hike back by 1 p.m..

To keep you safe and energized, make sure you come prepared with:
- Close-toed shoes (hiking boots or sturdy sneakers).
- Long pants and work gloves.
- Plenty of water to stay hydrated!

No previous trail maintenance experience is required—just bring your energy, your enthusiasm and your love for the outdoors. Let’s keep St. Joe State Park beautiful together!
