Meet our new School Resource Officer at McPolin Elementary – Clint Parker!

Officer Parker began his law enforcement career in 2009 and has served in patrol, traffic, motors, and investigations. His most recent work focused on major crimes, crimes against children, and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. He is also a member of the Park City Police Department Honor Guard.

This is his first year as an SRO, and he is excited to bring his passion for child safety to McPolin Elementary while building positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Outside of work, Clint enjoys running, hiking, fishing, and is currently training for a half marathon.

Trusted adults are important in helping bring awareness to and prevent child abuse. A trusted adult is chosen by the young person as a safe figure that listens without judgment, agenda or expectation, but with the sole purpose of supporting and encouraging positivity within a young person’s life. Trusted adults can be parents, teachers, coaches, neighbors, or others who are part of a child's life.
