Are you interested in the field of Trauma Informed Movement? Curious how to make your classes more Trauma Informed?
Join us on February for an introduction to Trauma Informed Yoga. This class is also a pre-requisite to our 100 hour Trauma Sensitive Movement Certification, led by Jenn Solomon, ERYT200/RYT500, CYT, and trauma yoga specialist.
First we learn about the mechanics of trauma. What is trauma? What is a trauma disorder? What about the brain/body connection? Then we learn how to teach trauma informed classes. Through these 20 hours you will participate in varying modalities for trauma relief, including group Trauma Informed Classes, Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), EFT/TFT tapping, and IRest meditation.
This workshop is approved for 20 hours of continuing education credits from Yoga Alliance.
