Wildfire Defense Pledge

As a member of the community involved in the Wildland Urban Interface Pelican Wildfire Consulting is committed to striving to adhere to the principles listed here in the Wildland Defense Pledge.

Pelican Wildfire pledges to:
1) Prioritize the safety of individuals, communities, and ecosystems in all operations.
2) Be transparent about methods, objectives, and efficacy of all engagements and operations and be committed to conducting said engagements and operations with the highest degree of integrity and quality.
3) Recognize the dynamic nature of wildfire and wildfire mitigation, to learn from our actions and the lessons learned by others by engaging the community and sharing knowledge gained from our experiences.
4) To operate in an environmentally responsible way through promoting ecological balance, biodiversity, and sustainable practices, minimize environmental footprint wherever possible, and make every effort to facilitate the natural fire regime.
