Join us at the Park City Senior Center for an engaging evening with Sherman Smith, founder and editor-in-chief of the Kansas Reflector. A three-time Kansas Press Association Journalist of the Year and award-winning investigative reporter, Smith will share the story behind the Kansas Reflector, a nonprofit news organization dedicated to in-depth reporting on Kansas government, politics, and public policy. Learn how independent journalism helps inform citizens, amplifies diverse voices, and strengthens democracy across our state.

Smith will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing local and state journalism today, as well as the important role nonprofit news organizations play in keeping the public informed. Whether you follow Kansas politics closely or simply want to better understand how government decisions impact everyday life, this presentation will offer valuable insight into the issues shaping our communities and our future.

The Aquatic Center will be adjusting it's hours on Saturday, June 6th due to staffing shortages.

THIS IS FOR TODAY ONLY

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Water Walk (Ages 18+)
Enjoy water walking time for adults ages 18 and older.

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Toddler Time (Ages 6 & Under)
Young children and their parents can enjoy the zero-entry splash zone in a fun, family-friendly environment.

Splash Pad Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
The splash pad will remain open during its regular operating hours.
