A huge “THANK YOU!!” to our Paris business community for the outstanding donations this year to our Firepup program. We received over $10,000 in donations! Firepup is a National Fire Safety Council program that provides fire safety education material for primary school aged kids in a fun, interactive format. Your generous support allows us to reach hundreds of kids in Paris with this fire safety information each year. Well done, Paris!

Congrats to Firefighter Cody Daniel on completing his probationary year with the Paris Fire Department. FF Daniel was raised here in Lamar County and has been a great addition to our department. He came here with a wealth of knowledge including military service to our country, prior to entering the fire service. He and others like him, represent the next generation of firefighters that will serve our community in the coming decades.

🚨 Community Notice 🚨

Paris ISD will be hosting First Responder Training at Paris High School on the following dates:

📅 Wednesday, July 15 & Thursday, July 16
📅 Wednesday, July 22 & Thursday, July 23

First responders from across the State of Texas will be participating in this important training as they continue to strengthen their emergency response skills and preparedness.

During these dates, you may notice an increased presence of law enforcement officers, emergency vehicles, and other first responders at the Paris High School campus.

Please do not be alarmed. This is only a planned training exercise. There is no emergency or active incident taking place.

Paris ISD is proud to partner with first responders by providing a location for this valuable training, which helps ensure they are prepared to respond when our communities need them most.

Thank you for helping us share this information and for your continued support of Paris ISD and our first responders.

🔥During last weekend’s storms, A-Shift crews stayed busy, responding to more than 90 calls for service.
On Friday night, during the height of the storm, crews were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire. The first arriving unit encountered heavy fire showing through the roof. Firefighters worked the scene for just under two hours to bring the situation under control.
We’re grateful to report that no injuries occurred.🚒

B-Shift crews stayed busy recently, responding to a small fire above a utility closet at a motel on Lamar Ave, as well as a separate vehicle fire.
Thanks to their quick actions and teamwork, both fires were brought under control and extinguished quickly, helping prevent further damage and keeping our community safe.
