CASA for KIDS of Paris, Texas Our Vision:
We envision a safe and positive future for all Texas children. That volunteer is called a Court Appointed Special Advocate®, or CASA.

When a child enters the foster care system because his or her home is no longer safe, a judge may appoint a committed volunteer to help them. CASA volunteers are screened and highly trained and then appointed by judges to represent and advocate for a child’s best interests in the child protection system. CASA volunteers are each assigned to help one child or set of siblings at a time, so they can focus on giving that child or sibling group the individualized advocacy and attention they need. CASA volunteers save taxpayers money and children’s futures by helping children find safe, permanent homes as soon as possible.

CASA for KIDS 28th Annual Fiesta Fundraiser held on August 29th at the Love Civic Center was a HUGE success! With well over 500 people in attendance, there was music provided by Mix Society and catering provided by TaMolly's. CASA was able to raise $103,000.00 through silent and live auctions, raffles, and sponsorships from local businesses! We are going to be thanking all of our sponsors this month, but we want to start with our underwriter sponsors (companies sponsoring CASA at a level of $5000.00 or more). This year our underwriters were Stackers Pickleball Club and Arca Continental/Southwest Bottling/Coca Cola. We are so thankful for you helping us continue to serve children in our community! Thank you to all!!

On the second Sunday of November each year, faith communities across the state of Texas are invited to pray for children and families involved in the foster care system. To help promote Stand Sunday, we’ve created a media release template, social media posts and prayer cards to distribute to faith organizations. Also in the toolkit are ways faith organizations can support CASA and families. Stand Sunday is a wonderful entry point for building relationships with faith communities that have just begun showing interest in caring for the most vulnerable. 💙💙

**Please share**Our friend David House Jewelry has donated this stunning 14k White Gold, Green Amethyst Diamond ring to CASA for KIDS of Paris, Texas for our upcoming Fiesta event. This ring is more beautiful in person, and you can have a chance to own this fine piece of jewelery valued at over $2500. We are selling raffle tickets for this ring for $20 a piece or 6 for $100. Our goal is to sell 125 tickets, but hurry, because we will sell these quickly. Call or come by CASA (903-737-4346 or 1651 Clarksville Street) to grab your raffle ticket before they are gone. The winner will be drawn at the Fiesta event on August 29th at the Love Civic Center.
