We are thrilled to welcome over 650 collegiate anglers, along with their families, coaches, and fans, to Kentucky Lake for this week’s collegiate Big Bass Bash tournament! Sponsored by the Henry County Tourism Authority.

Our community is proud to host some of the top student anglers in the country as they take to the water to compete on one of the premier fishing grounds in the nation. While you're off the lake, we hope you enjoy our local restaurants, shops, and genuine Paris-Henry County hospitality!

FIND YOUR WILD: From Critters to Constellations 🌙

This Saturday, September 12, starting at 4:00 PM, come help us kick off fall at the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge!

As daylight fades, the Refuge changes. Wildlife becomes active, night sounds begin to fill the woods, and eventually our attention turns from the critters below to the stars above.

We’ll be joined by educators and wildlife professionals from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), Paris Landing State Park, Land Between the Lakes, and the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge for an evening of hands-on learning about wildlife, owls, reptiles and amphibians, bats, nocturnal animals, and more.

Then, as darkness settles in, we turn toward astronomy and the night sky. ✨

Come for an hour or stay for the evening. Bring the kids, bring a friend, and come experience what happens at the Refuge after the sun goes down.

The banners are up, and it's finally time to introduce one of the biggest parts of Battle City - GUILDS!

So… what exactly is a Guild?

A Guild is your squad within Battle City.

It doesn't matter whether you play Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Gundam, Digimon, One Piece, D&D, board games, or you're just here because you enjoy being part of the community.

You choose the Guild that represents YOU.

ARGENTIAN ARTIFICERS

Once you've chosen your Guild, you're not limited to a specific game. You'll represent your Guild across Battle City.

Throughout each season, you'll have opportunities to earn points for your Guild through tournaments, events, challenges, achievements, and other activities around the store.

Your victories become your Guild's victories.

But Guilds aren't just about competition.

They're about giving you a group to belong to.

You'll meet other members, compete alongside them, work together during special events, represent your colors, and help build your Guild's reputation throughout Battle City.

And yes… there will be Guild competitions, special events, bragging rights, rewards, and plenty of surprises along the way.

You don't have to be the best player in the room.

You just have to choose where you stand.

JOY MOVE is coming to Downtown Paris! Joy Move is a health and fitness collective offering Mat Pilates and sculpting exercises. For more information, check out their page!

Also new is Bridges Family Center, LLC ! Bridges is a counseling center that provides counseling for all ages plus family and couples therapy. Their main location is in Murray but will soon have a location here in Paris!

These two new businesses are a great addition to Paris-Henry County.. health and wellness is very important! Physically and mentally!

tnAchieves is hosting a community update stop in Henry County to share how the organization is increasing college graduation rates and connecting students to economic opportunity. They are looking for input from the community, and we would encourage you to RSVP and join.
