tion education/counseling for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum mothers, as well as children, newborn to age 5. Breastfeeding education and support is provided from the first visit with a newly pregnant mother through the first year of the newborn's life. Each client receives valuable food benefits to supplement their nutrition. The benefits provided offer foods from each section of "My Plate" to encourage a healthy diet. Clients are provided referrals for any services that we are unable to offer them at the health department. We are here to assist clients in every aspect of their new journey as parents.
