This past weekend, the Lamar County Federated Republican Women attended the TFRW Quarterly Meeting. Those who attended are Le Andra Border Maughon - President, Roger Vickie Powell - 2nd Vice President & Ashley Green - Legislative Vice President.

While there, we received our TFRW & NFRW Charter Certificates!

We have also achieved our 1st award for having reached 25 Primary Members by July 4th! We exceeded that & currently have 28 primary & 9 Associate Members, totaling 37!

We are excited to have reached both of these milestones & we plan to continue our mission of educating the public, encouraging conservative women, helping to elect republican candidates & KEEPING TEXAS RED!!

The Lamar County Federated Republican Women had a great turnout last night with a few elected officials in the house & our amazing guest speaker, Karen Kain!

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us & hear from these great officials & our girl Karen!

Our next meeting is Tuesday August 4th at 6:00 pm with our local PEDC Executive Director, Maureen Hammond.

We hope to see all of you there!

We made our 1st July 4th parade
debut today & despite the heat, we survived & had a great time! It was awesome to see so many people turn out for the 250 Celebration of America Parade! 

A shout out to Roger Vickie Powell for the trailer & pulling it for our club! Another shout out to Cecil Rumbo for the beautiful American flag 🇺🇸 & bell & to Ramona Taylor Hill, Elizabeth Maybin & Debbie Garrett for helping decorate our float!

We were joined in line by our HD-1 State Representative Republican candidate Chris Spencer & the Pct 2 Republican candidate for County Commissioner Mike Ford!

We look forward to next year!
