🚨 UPDATE – CYNTHIANA ROAD

The Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office and Bourbon County Fire are currently working an active non-injury accident involving a hazardous material on Cynthiana Road, just past Peacock Road heading toward Cynthiana.

The State Emergency Response Team is on scene, and we want to assure everyone that the situation is contained and there is currently no danger to the public.

Cleanup efforts will begin as quickly as possible; however, we anticipate a lengthy closure of Cynthiana Road while the scene is safely handled.

Please avoid the area and use an alternate route if possible. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation while emergency crews work to safely clear the roadway.

🎉 Happy Retirement, Jody! 🎉

Today is a bittersweet day at the Bourbon County Clerk’s Office as we celebrate Jody Perkins on her final day with us! 💙💛

After 18 years of dedicated service, Jody is officially retiring and beginning a well-deserved new chapter.

Jody, your Clerk’s Office family will certainly miss having you as part of our team, but we are so excited for you and wish you nothing but happiness, relaxation, good health, and many new adventures in the years ahead.

Thank you for your years of service to the citizens of Bourbon County and for the memories you’ve made with all of us along the way.
