Thank you all for your support during our Poppy Festival this year. Our bodies may be worn but our hearts are full.

This was our first time extending the festival beyond Memorial Day weekend, thanks to all that rain. To be honest, we wondered if the weather had done us in this year. But y’all showed up this weekend and we can’t thank you enough.

Thank you to our awesome staff for keeping everything running so well. We couldn’t do it without them.

Thank you to the vendors and musicians for bringing the festival atmosphere to our farm.

A special thank you to Harry Peterson for lending his Old Red tractor after ours broke down Saturday. The Peterson’s are neighbors you can count on. And to MidMart for supplying pizza when one of our food trucks had to cancel.

A final thank you to the City of North Middletown, Paris, and Bourbon County. We’re a small family farm but we’re also proud to be part of our little rural community.

Though the Poppy Festival is over, we will be open this coming weekend (June 6-7) for one final weekend of regular farm activities, including hayrides and flower picking.

POPPY FESTIVAL Sunday May 31

The huge fields of flowers are blooming beautifully, with red poppies, pink poppies, blue bachelor buttons, and purple larkspur.

✔️Plus: Hayrides, Farm Animals, Play Area, Yard Games, Bubbles in the Blooms, and more

🎶Bonus: LIVE Music, Handmade Craft Fair, and Food Trucks

Non-festival dates: June 6-7(without Live Music, Craft Fair, and Food Trucks)

⏰ HOURS:
10:00am to 6:00pm
Live music is scheduled for 12-2:30 and 3-5:30
Food trucks approximately 11:00-5:00

💵 ADMISSION:
$11.95 includes all activities listed above
Ages 2 & under are free
Veterans are free

✂️ U-PICK FLOWERS:
We have all the supplies you need
Vases range from $12 to $25
Pick as many flowers as you want in any combination, and keep the vase. Or, if you only want a few stems, they’re 50 cents each without the vase.

🐐GOAT FEEDING:
$1 for a token to get a handfull of feed. We also have other farm animals that are not for feeding.

💵 PAYMENT OPTIONS:
We take cash, cards, Apple Pay, and Google. The craft vendors and food truck payment options may vary.

🍩 FOOD OPTIONS:
Burnacos
Frosty Burger
Jamie’s Famous Fried Peaches
We also have mini-donuts, soft pretzels, chips, popsicles, ice cream bars, and cold drinks

Update from the field on this Saturday morning of Poppy Festival take two.

We’ll be open today and tomorrow (May 30-31) from 10 to 6. Vendors should be here all day. Live music is noon to 5:30. Food trucks from at least 11 to 5.

Introducing our Vendor and Live Music lineups for this weekend!

We're so excited to have nice weather for our extended Poppy Festival 2026 weekend. We have a full lineup of handmade vendors, along with delicious food options, so come on out and support local!

We are also bringing live music back. It runs from noon to 5:30 each day.

You do not need to pay admission to shop the vendor fair. Admission will be paid for the farm activities, including access to the flower fields, hayrides, farm animals, play area, yard games, and the live music.

🌺 RAIN CHECK POPPY FESTIVAL INFO 🌺

Please share to help us spread the word!

Due to the poor weather over Memorial Day weekend, we are extending the Poppy Festival to this weekend (May 30-31, 10am-6pm).

We were already set to open this weekend with regular farm activities but we are now including the craft vendor fair, live music, and food trucks.

This gives the craft vendors another chance to set up and you all another chance to support them. We are also working on scheduling live music and food trucks for both days. Stay tuned for announcements on the lineup.

Thank you to everyone who came out last weekend, especially those who braved the rainy Saturday and Sunday. The weather wasn’t exactly what we had hoped but y’all still came out and made it a fun time. Your support means more than you know.

While the timing of all that rain was unfortunate, it will make the flowers look amazing this weekend. They were already looking pretty darn good but I have a feeling they’re really going to pop over these next several days.

And, I’m almost afraid to put it in writing, but the forecast looks PERFECT for this weekend!

Memorial Day honors military personnel who died while serving.

This Memorial Day weekend we had an “Honor Wall” that our guests added names to honoring all service members both living and dead. It’s beyond the core meaning of the holiday but it’s a chance to acknowledge their sacrifices - of which many continue to carry long after their service.

Here are the names of the deceased service members added by our guests.

The 13 names at the top of the list are those who have been killed this year, including two Kentuckians.
