Hi everyone, I'm Rebecca! You may know me best as the librarian behind our social media pages: liking your comments, answering your questions, and sharing updates about library events over the years.

When I first walked through the library doors as a new hire back in 1996 (!!), I could never have imagined the incredible journey ahead... or how hard it would be to leave 30 years later.

If you've been visiting our library for a while, you might also remember me as the librarian who ran our Anime Club and teen events, taught workshops on aromatherapy and herbs, or helped you find your next great read at the circulation and reference desks.

For the past decade, I’ve been working primarily behind the scenes, selecting and purchasing the books you see on our adult fiction, nonfiction, and teen shelves.

Over the last 30 years, I've had the incredible pleasure and privilege to serve this wonderful community in so many roles.

Beyond the books, what I will treasure most are the little moments that made my time in Parchment so special. Getting to know so many of you, sharing conversations and laughter, and connecting with readers of all ages over the years.

I want to extend my deepest thanks to all of you for making my time here so special and wish you all the best. 📚❤️
