👻🎃Join us TODAY from 10am-5pm at the Main Library for our annual Haunted Halloween! Each department has its own spooky theme, including Peanuts in Children’s and Circulation, Jurassic Park in Administration, and skeletons in Adult Services!

Becky, our Head of Adult Programming, dressed up as our very own Director Len!

Younger children can also enjoy a Halloween scavenger hunt this morning! Wear your costume and stop by for a day full of treats, games, and Halloween fun. We can’t wait to see you!🕸️🍬

Tomorrow is the day! 👻Haunted Halloween is almost here! 🐈‍⬛Join us tomorrow, Friday, October 23, from 10AM-5PM at the Main Library for our annual Haunted Halloween Party! 🎃🦇Each department will be decorated with a different theme, where kids can trick-or-treat, enjoy games, and find plenty of fun photo opportunities. 🕸️Younger kids can also join our Halloween scavenger hunt in the morning! 🍫Don’t forget to wear your costume!

This week is National Friends of Libraries Week, and we celebrated our wonderful Friends of the Library at the BCCLS Afternoon Tea with Friends, featuring bestselling author Lauren Willig at the Graycliff!

We are so grateful to our Friends for their continued dedication to the library and their efforts to raise funds that support our programs, services, and collections. Thank you for all you do for our library community!

From PHS to the Page & Stage! 🎭📚

Paramus High School ESL teacher, author, and acclaimed playwright Yasmine Beverly Rana will be hosted by the Paramus Public Library for a special reading and discussion on Tuesday, October 27th from 7:00-8:30 PM.

Ms. Rana will share excerpts from her latest work, Another Spring and Other Plays, and discuss the inspirations behind her writing. Her dedication to her craft and creative achievements both inside and outside the classroom serve as a wonderful inspiration to our students to pursue their own passions!

Join us Tuesday, October 27, from 7 – 8:30 p.m. for an evening of reading and conversation with local author, playwright, and Paramus High School teacher Yasmine Beverly Rana! Hear her read from her newest work, Another Spring and Other Players, and share the inspiration behind her writing journey.
