Attention Paramount Residents

Vote YES on Measure P! 💚

Measure P is an investment in a safer, stronger Paramount while protecting the services our community depends on.

If approved, Measure P is projected to generate approximately $4 million annually to support priorities including public safety and emergency response, road and street repairs, environmental protection, and investments in our local businesses.

Importantly, Measure P does NOT tax residential property owners or renters. It applies only to commercial and industrial properties based on square footage.

I encourage our Paramount residents to learn the facts about Measure P and Vote YES for a safer, stronger Paramount!

It was an honor to attend the Daughters of Mary and Joseph’s 100 Years of Gratitude celebration at St. John Fisher Church in Rancho Palos Verdes. 💙🙏

What a beautiful milestone—100 years of faith, service, and dedication to others. I was especially so happy to see Sr. Anna and have the opportunity to share in such a meaningful celebration.

Congratulations to the Daughters of Mary and Joseph on this incredible centennial. May God continue to bless their ministry and all those they serve.

It was a pleasure attending the City of Bellflower’s 2026 State of the City Luncheon today. I enjoyed hearing about Bellflower’s accomplishments, continued progress, and vision for the future.

Congratulations to Mayor Sonny R. Santa Ines, Mayor Pro Tem Victor A. Sanchez, and the entire Bellflower City Council on a wonderful event. It’s always great to come together with neighboring cities to celebrate the work being done to strengthen our communities.

📣 Tracking devices are now eligible for Paramount's Home Security Rebate!

Are you trying to protect your property? The City of Paramount is offering rebates of up to $200 to residents who purchase security products for their homes.

Eligible products include:
✅ Exterior Floodlights with a Camera
✅ Doorbell Cameras
✅ Motion Sensor Lights with a Camera

📍 Tracking devices also qualify for the Home Security Rebate! Limited to two eligible devices per household, they may be attached to keys, bags, electronics, vehicles, and even pets!

To receive a rebate, Paramount residents must:
1️⃣ Purchase their equipment and apply within 60 days of purchase.
2️⃣ Install the devices at their Paramount property.
3️⃣ Apply online with a photo of the installation and a full copy of their receipt.

On Friday, I had the opportunity to participate in the “Clearing the Chaos: How Cities Are Regaining Operational Control” panel.

It was a great conversation about the challenges cities are facing—from state mandates and fiscal uncertainty to staffing, infrastructure, and growing community expectations—and how we can move from simply reacting to challenges to leading with intention.

I was proud to share Paramount’s experiences alongside our City Manager John Moreno and Karen Pinkos, City Manager of El Cerrito, with Mark Risco of Willdan moderating our discussion.

Grateful for the opportunity to share, learn from one another, and continue finding ways to better serve our communities. 💙🏙️

Grateful to spend time on Catalina Island with the California Contract Cities Association Executive Board for our Strategic Planning Session.

It was a valuable opportunity to come together, share ideas, discuss our priorities, and look ahead at how we can continue strengthening Contract Cities and supporting the communities we serve.

I always appreciate the collaboration, thoughtful conversations, and commitment to public service shared by this incredible group of leaders. Proud to continue being part of the Contract Cities family. 💙
