Focus Inc Paragould Adult Development Center Focus, Inc. is a non-profit organization in Northeast Arkansas dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities.

was founded in 1978 as a non-profit, early intervention program. As the years passed, we added various services for older children and then for adults. We are governed by a Board of Directors, composed of parents of children with disabilities and disability professionals, and a Management Team led by a Director. Focus presently employs over 200 staff members in Northeast Arkansas. Focus targets in

dividuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those who are underserved, either because of the severity of the disability or because of the lack of family and community support. It is our goal to offer services that are capable of facilitating lifestyle changes and that meet primary needs. We also try to ensure that our services support the individual's presence in the family and the community. Focus wants to be an asset to the communities in which we work, to be a responsible employer of community members and to meet real community needs.

We had a wonderful send-off from our friends at the center as we headed to Special Olympics State in Searcy, AR! The staff and participants made some amazing signs for us, and it truly meant so much. We also had a great day at the opening ceremonies.

Saturday, April 25, 2026, we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Grandslams for Focus Softball Tournament Fundraiser, partnering with Southside Softball complex in Jonesboro. The last 2 years, we have had great turnouts and raised money that has been used to provide matching shirts for program events, as well as providing equipment needed for our new online curriculum we started in January. Thank you some much to the teams that have signed up both in previous years as well as for this year. Your continued support helps us reach goals that would not be obtained otherwise.
You may be wondering how you can help if you are not associated with any of the teams that play. Well, we are pre-selling our tournament t-shirts to anyone who would like to support but may not be involved with Softball.
