Paradis VFD, Des Allemands VFD, Bayou Gauche VFD and Lafourche District 1 VFD are on the scene of an active Marsh Fire that jumped to trees on Old Spanish Trail in Des Allemands, please use caution in the area! 🚒 Thank you to all the responders who are working diligently to put the fires out!

Santa will be passing through Paradis on Sunday, December 21, beginning at 1:30 PM!

🎅🎄 Santa is Coming to Paradis! 🎄🎅

Santa will be passing through Paradis on Sunday, December 21, beginning at 1:30 PM!

📍 Parade Route:
Santa will start at RJ Vial Elementary, travel down to BG Road, cross Highway 90 @ the red light, continue onto Fonda Street, loop around Robert Street to Early Street, then cross Highway 90 and return to the fire station.

🎁 Come outside, wave to Santa, and enjoy a little holiday magic with your neighbors!

After the fire is put out, there is still work for us to do!
Some things that have to be handled; trucks have to be refueled, tools have to be cleaned and refueled, SCBA bottles and packs have to be filled and clean, hoses need to be cleaned and put properly back on the trucks! These are just a few of the things we are required to do!

Thank you to the members from Paradis VFD, Des Allemands VFD, Bayou Gauche VFD, Lafourche VFD, and Luling VFD who helped this morning with the house fire in Des Allemands and to all Paradis member who stayed to help put all the tools and trucks back in service!

If you're intrested in becoming a volunteer, come by our station on Tuesday nights!!😀
