VALA'S PUMPKIN PATCH TRAFFIC INFORMATION

Heading to Vala's? Please see the map below for important route information. Due to a City of Gretna construction project in the area of 186th and Schram, access to Vala's from 192nd will be closed. The project is scheduled for completion Friday, September 4th, after 4pm. . Vala's customers will need to use 180th and 168th Street during the closure.

Monarchs vs Titans High School Football Game

Parents and Fans,

Pictured below is the traffic diagram for after the game on Friday, September 4th, between Papillion La Vista Monarchs and Titans. Due to the large amount of traffic expected, carpooling is encouraged.

Pre-game traffic will flow as usual. Park in marked stalls only. Remember, there is no parking in emergency lanes, temporary marked areas, and grass areas. Post-game traffic will only be allowed to exit using the two exits highlighted above by the blue lines. All exiting traffic will be directed towards Highway 370. No left turns will be permitted onto 108th Street.

For spectators, please use the far south entrance highlighted with the red lines. Monarchs’ drop/pick-up area will be the west side of the stadium, and the Titans’ drop/pick-up area will be the east side. We ask that no one pick up spectators along 108th Street for everyone’s safety.

What a fantastic weekend connecting with our community.

On Saturday we attended the Defiance Harley-Davidson motorcycle show and followed it up on Sunday at the South Omaha Veterans and Community Clubs Jam n Gears car show.

Both events had a huge turnout and it was incredible to see so many great vehicles.

All of this excitement has us looking forward to our own event. Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 4, 2026, because the 5th Annual Cruise-N-For A Cause Car and Motorcycle Show is coming to Werner Park.

This free public event runs from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM and features food, a raffle, an auction, face painting, bounce houses, and live DJ.

Vehicle registration is twenty dollars by September 28, or twenty-five dollars on the day of the show.

Registered entries are eligible for a five hundred dollar cash prize, and seventeen Choice Awards will be handed out.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office had a fantastic time out at Werner Park earlier today for the 18th Annual Boxer 500.

Hosted by the Great Plains Colon Cancer Task Force, this wonderful event brought the community together to raise critical awareness for colon cancer education and prevention.

We loved seeing everyone participate in the 5K run, the walks, and the kids' races, as well as enjoying the pancake feed and Kids Zone.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office was happy to bring out our MRAP and Humvee to celebrate with the community tonight for the 88 Tactical 10-Year Anniversary Open House and Party.

It was a great evening filled with food trucks, local vendors, kids' inflatables, face painting, and glitter tattoos.

Attendees also enjoyed a free live concert by Dylan Bloom to wrap up the celebration.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office and Captain James Wrigley, along with his wife Bellevue Police Officer Karen Wrigley, Mayor Rusty Hike and the Bellevue Fire Department were deeply honored to attend this celebration at American Heroes Park for the Community Day honoring Master Sergeant Noah

Tietjens. On March 1, 2026, MSG Tietjens was tragically killed in Kuwait during an Iranian drone attack while serving in the U.S. Army Reserves.

As a Bellevue West High School graduate and devoted local resident, Noah was a beloved husband, father, Master Sergeant, martial artist, and friend whose life was defined by service to others.

We extend our immense gratitude to Martial Arts International, our fellow first responders, city leadership, and the entire Bellevue community for coming together to create such a meaningful morning of remembrance and fellowship.

Our hearts and continued support remain with the Tietjens family as we honor a true hero. What an incredible couple of days out in the community.

Yesterday we had a blast hanging out at Bikes on the 100 Block, and today we kept that momentum rolling right into the 55th Maintenance Group Picnic and Car Show at Offutt.

It was awesome bringing out the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office Humvee and MRAP, seeing the kids climb inside to explore, and spending time with our friends in the 55th Squadron MXG.

All this incredible energy gets us even more excited for what is right around the corner.

In just six weeks, we will be bringing everyone together again for the 5th Annual Cruise N for a Cause Car and Motorcycle Show on October 4th at Werner Park. We posted registration in pictures.

Tonight was such a great time at Music at the Crossing at Gretna Crossing Park Amphitheater.

The overcast weather kept things feeling comfortable, and the overall vibe across the park was unbelievable.

The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office was honored to honor to be part of event especially with the community.

The Happy Endings Band really brought the house down with their high-energy variety rock. Fred. Matt, Zachary,, Natalie, and Nikki put on a serious show, especially with Natalie and Nikki bringing those massive vocals and big guitars to get the crowd going and energizing the crowd.

Get ready car and bike lovers because car show season is in full swing. We had an awesome time today taking in all the incredible builds at the 7th Annual Omaha Suburban Rotary Car Show at Shadow Lake Collision Center, and it got us completely fired up for our own massive event.

The countdown is officially on, as our Cruise N' for a Cause Car and Motorcycle Show at Werner Park is just six weeks away on Sunday, October 4th.

This is a totally free, action-packed event for the whole family featuring delicious food, DJ, bounce houses, face painting, plus high-stakes raffles and auctions.

If you are bringing a ride, all car and motorcycle types are welcome.

We are handing out 15 Choice Awards, a Fan Favorite trophy, and every registered entry gets a shot at a five hundred dollar cash prize.
