To celebrate the Season of Lent, Miller Plumbing Co. invited customers to make their payment checks out to My Father’s House instead of paying Miller Plumbing Co. In doing so, they raised over $9,700 for My Father’s House!

Our shelter has been fortunate during the storms, but we know many of our neighbors weren’t as fortunate. Please be cautious as you make arrangements for repairs!

Our community looks out for each other.

Storms can bring more than damage; they can bring scams. If someone comes to your door offering repairs, take a moment to verify who they are. Be cautious of high-pressure tactics and always confirm credentials before agreeing to any work.

✔️ Always ask to see it before engaging

MFH is looking for a volunteer with hair cutting experience to offer a couple hours of service to Residents at our Transitional Housing Shelter in Paola. Services could be provided at the shelter, or if you work locally, we can transport people to you! Sometimes change begins with a haircut...

Our Emergency Food Pantry at MFH needs your help! We have a lot of empty shelves right now and it’s hard to put together anything of substance for those needing food right now. The most needed items at this time are:

Peanutbutter
Jelly
Mac n cheese
boxed dinners
Canned meats
Heat and serve soups
Condensed soups
Canned beans
Rice
Pasta sauces
Cereal
Oatmeal packets
Pancake mix
All Canned fruit
All individual snack items

Items can be dropped off at MFH 8am-8pm daily! Please help if you can. Thank you!

Please join us in sending off Janea White with our warmest wishes. After Eighteen years of service, Janea will be leaving for a new journey.

We will be having an open house for those who have volunteered, worked next to or resided as residents during Janeas years with us at MFH, and would like to wish her well.

We are so incredibly thankful and blessed to be the recipients of a generous $50,000 gift from First Christian Church of Louisburg! The receipt of these funds officially kicks off fundraising for the combined storm shelter and Community Building for our Tiny Homes Development!!!
